A good amount of themes you picked are really rad but some of them feel like fillers, I don't think you spread your battle themes to far out. You're missing a lot of good battle themes out there that are greatly recognized but none the less a great list

Music it is really important in any game, but so much in the RPG, the best example i can think of is enchanted arms, i was really looking forward to that game, i bought it in the minute it got out for the 360, with comic book and everything, and it is a good game, but most of the music is not that good, and gives it less chance to be remembered than if it got great music, do you know anyone that said, enchanted arms battle theme is great? no, because it sucked! and that gave it more thumbs down.

He's taking the musical composition itself into consideration.

In this song's case, most of it repeats a falling arpeggio while a single melody threads through it. Too simple.

RPG Music is more, WAY more than Final Fantasy and there are way many composers as able as Uematsu-san, so I have no complains here.

That's the problem with FF's. They mostly are great games (VII is simply awesome) but it tends to make fankids blind themselves to other magnificent games such as Baten Kaitos.
