i dont think this video quite fits my interpretation of the song. I relate a lot to this song and i think it's really just about doing nothing, and just walking around life doing stuff just to do it. for instance they mention raiding a liquor cabinet just because his parents weren't home, there wasn't any thought put in, hes just going through the motions.

I thought it was overall good but didn't really understand the domestic abuse part...or the bloody end. I dunno, the song just overall sounds pretty peaceful and the lyrics are really peaceful (although there's an underlying sense of depression just from the numbness brought on by mundane, stagnant lives (white trash boys listenin to their headphones and walking down the riverside..)) so I don't really get why some scenes are so violent.

I could really see this video/music being a good intro to a dark humour type movie about drug abuse and a day-in-the-life type deal. With a style like Trainspotting or Spun. It's an excellent video, as the music goes well with what's going on. The one thing I don't like though is the guy freaking out and then the ending part with the blood... Good aside from that though.

This is one of my favorite Modest Mouse Songs. I like the concept, you'd never expect it if you'd heard the song. As far the the whole mellow song/violence thing, it's the same as when you play Manhunt or GTA to classical music. It makes it that much more rad. <3
