If you read the description you would know it's from the perspective of a camera attached to a blind person's collar. Got to admit though, it confused me too at first lol.
@trololololqc I had the video described to me. I have an aide and he helps me quite a bit. I read the comment "Everything goes at fast pace for blind people" so I know it must be moving fast and another person said "I always thought they see pitch black" so I know this video is not black and therefore is either some form of grey or has colors. Either way, for me, it would be incorrect. A low vision person would be able to see colors I think....... but not a blind person.
A blind person doesn't see anything. He doesn't see black or white. They don't see anything. Unless they are partially blind. A person who looses their sight later in life will have memories of sight.
While it may not have been the intent, the video seems to show the perspective of a blind person with significant loss of field (tunnel vision) and nystagmus (repetitive, uncontrollable movement of the eyes.)
@aznboy3213 I think that must be about right. I go to a special school for all kinds of handicaps and I have no sight..not even light but one of my friends has some sight and he can see but its all blurry and if you hold something up close to him he can tell you a color but that's about it. Another friend catches some light. It all depends on what condition made you blind, if you still have you eyes (or they were removed) etc etc
@BadukChanel- It is black. I used to be able to see. Now I cannot see anything. It is as if I closed my eyes and never opened them again. However, a friend who had cancer and kept his eyes but lost his vision told me sometimes its black and sometimes its white. Another friend born blind, can't describe colors so he can't really tell me what he see's or doesn't see.
@rafizadeh123 What can you see out of your elbow? Nothing of course! It sounds ridiculous, but it will help imagine what the "nothing" really means. Seeing absolutely nothing is not common, as somebody mentioned earlier. Most legally blind people have at least light perception, maybe form/shape perception, or better. Some legally blind people see well enough to read print.
@simponsucks201 I am legally blind. When someone sees just black they are profoundly blind. 9 out of 10 blind people have some sight. If you are 20/200 or worse with corrective lenses you are legally blind. We have lots of tools to help us "see". I use the internet, and read, etc with help from technology. I have 20/600 vision.
It's a bit odd, with the bathroom part, but it's still a really nice video. I found it while looking for a video, assuming anyone has one lol, of what a blind person sees.. like, if they just see pitch blackness, or what? But this is a very interesting video!

@swampzoid I know this is kinda crazy to ask but how does a blind person see no color? I mean they have to see SOMETHING right?

i wish a blind person could have eye surgery, be able to see and paint a picture of what they saw when they were blind

so if i catch all of the comment, about 80% of the blind people see a little bit of stuff but it's very very blurry

@aznboy3213 Yes. Reading and describing it...and writing what I sign. I cannot speak either (long story).

people always say blind people see nothing, but what would be considered nothing? i don't think it would be black.

@chrisdelvalleisgreat what do u mean by nothing? i want to learn about blind people

@rafizadeh123
From what I understand, imagine not having the sense of sight. You just don't have it, so you don't have any vision to "see".

Everything goes fast pace for blind people? And country music plays for them all the time? That's odd.

ILOVEPOT420Pot 2 years ago
Not necessarily. Some people who are legally blind have some vision, they can make out colors, and certain shapes.

at least there are people who are interested in what we can picture mentally although we can't physically see it clearly
