I played my first season on pro as a first baseman for the chi sox. .524 average 188 hits in 379 at bats and 37 homeruns. 15 stolen bases too. I had 2 grandslams and hit for cycle once. And one the rookie of the year. But obviously I played every game :D his name is Ben Street.

I made Bryce Harper and I got to 99 everything. Hit 99 HRs, hit in the mid .400s, mid 200s in RBI, low 100s in steals, it was just too easy.

How didn't you make it to the MLB by mid way in the AA? It isn't that hard to get your stats up along with the AVG. SLG %.... but nice hitting.

it seems like they stole every aspect of "my player career" from road to the show. once again, the only this better that 2k has over the show is the announcers. and the show still doesn't have bad announing.

I haven't tried a hitter for my player mode, but as a pitcher all i needed was a fastball, changeup, and the wild effus pitch and I got called up to the majors with just 15 minor league games. In my debut, I recorded 15 Ks while throwing the effus pitch 90% of the time!!!

haha I didn't even know you could get sent to AAA. I thought you automatically went up to the Majors! Me and my brother both were sent right to the majors. Now my guy has 99 for every attribute! It's pretty funny becuase I have 65 home runs 2 games after the all-star break.

But yeah, I really like the My Player mode and since I got the game, that is litarally all I have done in the game of 2k10!

@dragonman24 You are right, didn't even think about it. That is the nice thing about the show, I believe they prevent you from choosing retired numbers for your players. May have to consider a number change in an upcoming episode.

I don't like my player too much. It's very annoying that you have to play about every 3 days, which takes to much time. You should be able to pick when you want to play.
