peroxide doesnt contain bleach, if it did it would blow up in a closed space with no air. i think u had a high peroxide and its a lifter.

I dyed my hair blonde about 5 months ago and I wanna go back to my natural hair colour which is light brown and I'm not sure if the bleach in my hair will affect the dye and make it go a really ugly colour

I have white blonde hair, and I really wanna go back to a color thats really close to my natural. And i'm afraid that if I just get a box color then dye it.. it'll turn black. and I don't want that, so how can I do this so it won't be black? (my natural is a light brown)

and would you recommend getting a pro to do it?

@AlexandraAbandonment..well it won't turn black in fact it'll turn green! because when you lighten hair especially to that level you remove the natural pigment in your hair which in most cases is red,gold,copper so basically you need to deposit those colours back into your hair before you can colour your hair light brown..i'd recommend a stylist doing it because you have to becareful to apply the colour properly getting all the blonde..

@marmarx22 that happened to me. my hair color is a very light blonde and i wanted to dye it brown. after i did it, my hair was a mess. it was green! my aunt had a hair salon and told me that to tone down the green when i dye my hair brown, i needed to add a couple of drops of red color (2 or 3).......that tones down the green color

I tried to go blonde but weny yellow after applying 6-7 different dyes, i then got fed up and dyes it medium brown but it came out really dark almost black. and i missed bits to *nightmear*!!!

I like both colors on u,but the dark hair does look healthy.I color my natural dark blonde hair black & I love it! Keep it dark if u wanna have healthy hair.

You are an adorable brunette. I'm platinum, like Holly Madison's color and I really love it but as you know, blond is the biggest pain in the ass to upkeep. I HATE roots so I do them every three weeks and tone and its really taking a toll on my hair so I'm thinking of going my natural color (dark blond) and highlighting the top.

Brown hair looks way better on you. Blonde seemed to wash you out. But I wonder what kind of developer and products you used. You said they were going to wash out. If you used a Demi permanent for the filler and target color it would stick way Better. =]
