  • that little bastard who disliked this. I'm gonna hunt u down!

  • shogun and ascendancy were fucking awesome albums.. crusade was awesome aswell but it was a different one.. ember to inferno is also a beast of an album.. but in waves i think its a very very weird album(i am not saying its not good.. i mean dusk dismantled ,a skuline's severance, chaos reigns, inception of the end, of all these yesterdays are pure awesomeness its like hearing trivium evolving their music but the other songs its like i am not hearing trivium..
  • This is the REAL Trivium song!!!!

  • I love the words. Kinda hard to understand without the lyrics on hand, but that's just me. I prefer clean vocals. But Trivium has some powerful lyrics no matter the form of utterance.

  • Best one on the album!

  • In Waves they seemed to have lowered the intensity to more hard rock in my opinion. Thats fair enough because this was a concept album but I hope they go fuck out all guns in their next album. This song is !!!!!!!!!!! though

  • @a7xjordison tottaly agree..when i am hearing some songs its like i am listening to hard rock

  • Must... watch.... in.... 1080p

  • 1. Ascendancy because it was the first album I listened to by Trivium and it got me into Trivium

    2.Shogun

    3. The crusade In Waves and Ember To Inferno are in there own amazing category

  • @TheShadowalker5 swap shogun and ascendancy on the list, everything else i agree

  • all records are different and have their own sound, that´s good! Trivium is the only band that can change their sound so many times, and it still sounds awesome as hell...they never get bad!!!

  • 1. Ascendancy

    2. Shogun

    3. In Waves

    4. The Crusade

My Opinion, Never bothered to listen to 'Ember To Inferno'

  • We might disagree on the overall ranking of trivium's albums, but we can all agree the crusade was the worst by far.

  • I'll just go ahead and put them all at a tie because each and every single fucking one of them has it's uniqueness and greatness and none of them suck nor are they decent! they are all fucking epic and Im not saying this to get thumbs up I really fucking mean it, so whoever doesnt agree with me: fuck you, sir!

  • i like the back up vocals..

  • I love every album..

  • Every Trivium album is fucking great! i can't even say what's my favorite.

the break between 2:09 - 3:33 is epic and the last chorus kick's ass!!!!

  • Shogun is my fav Trivium album with In waves being second, the rest are all too close for me to rate in an order... so to sum it up, ALL of trivium's albums are FUCKING AWESOME!!! (and thats including the crusade!, fuck all of you crusade haters :p )

  • best songs off in waves:

    1.all of them

    2.all of them

    3.all of them

  • I think this cd is amazing in a totally different way than their other cds. I'll put Ascendancy and In Waves at a tie for first, with The Crusade and Shogun tied for second. I won't place Ember To Inferno cause it's in a whole league of it's mother fucking own.

  • @ihave5issues agreed except for the crusade bit, still think its half arsed album

  • @eazyesw nah man that was just Matt wanted to do something different. i can't criticize the man for wanting to try something different.

  • @ihave5issues to be honest ember to inferno is my favourite

  • look here, travis is an awesome drummer, no matter his style, he didnt play very flashy but his drums always fit the songs... his style wouldnt fit with these kinds of songs, listen to all of their songs, he played like that because of the songs, nick is pretty badass, give him time to show what he can do, do you really think that he would do double base aerobatics to these kinda songs? not really sorry

  • People complaining about the Drummer, both drummers are fine, everyone knows Triviums Guitarmanship is backbone of teh band, Matt and Cory are the only irreplaceable pieces.

  • fvck all Douchebag comments. You can't even play the guitar A major chord. Trivium 4ever!

  • lmfoa!,nick could never replace travis in his style, instead, nick found his own cliche.and rather than selfesh pretentious assholes like metallica, they worked with nick, and formed one badass albulm!.can you say that for itallica's new shit?

  • i like the wah pedal solos on this album!

  • I haven't heard Ember to Inferno, or the Crusade, but in my opinion, of what I've heard, Shogun is by far their best. It really showed that they have the ability to write original, complex, diverse kinds of songs. It was mature, unlike this. I'm a bit disappointed. I'm just glad that it isn't the emo fucktardery that a lot of Ascendancy was, but I wish they would stop just raging constantly song after song like this. It gets boring.

    Haters in 3...2...1...

  • Matt Heafy has absolutely outdone himself with his screaming on this song. FREAKING intense!!!

  • the shreding in this song is just amazing!\,,/

  • Honestly. I like Travis better than Nick. All Nick really does is blast beats in alot of there songs. He doesnt change it up much, BUT Trivium chose him to drum so he must be doing something right. I mean he is in a famous band and Im not so yea.

Also. Im pretty sure the members of Trivium dont give a fuck about who we think is better so why are we constantly bitching about it?

  • @killerdark31 sorry but uh... theres like litterally 30 secs of blasts on this whole album... nick has a super eccentric drumming style, every part is different, thrashy and in your face heavy. Travis had his own cool style, but nick is way better.

  • its definitely an album that grows on you...it was that way with shogun too but this i hated at first but now i cant get enough of it....and this is just a more mature trivium so i can accept it!

  • I think everyone should calm down, i mean c'mon. This is nowhere near as good as chocolate.

  • @demonicduck08 chocolate? are you ok or are you just drunk?

  • Nick doesn't really suit them imo. Travis has an incredible style, one reason he played the whole 'thrashier' up tempo style so often was to correspond with the guitar work which worked brilliantly though out all of the previous albums. Also it wasn't until Nick joined that they started including blast beats and more prominent breakdown riffs which doesn't appeal to me what so ever, however the 'groovier' aspects of this new album do make me want to listen to it more.

  • All of Trivium's albums are great. Nuff Said.

  • @seanyboy212 IMHO. I liked Ascendency the best and then Ember To Inferno. This album is great, The Crusade is good, and Shogun is alright.

  • @hurricane7sparkx i think shogun deserves more credit than you're giving! it's the album that pulled them out of the crusade shit

  • @deadtotheworld00 on the contrary shogun receives too much credit while The crusade receives to much hate for stupid reasons

  • @GODEYE270115 you are right, I actually took the time to listen to it since and it's not as bad as i originally thought

  • @deadtotheworld00 Glad you did:D im not saying shogun was bad or anything but The crusade definitely does not deserve all the shit it gets. wish more people took the time to listen to it

  • @seanyboy212

    1. Metallica are fucking awsome

    2. the crusade is fucking awsome

3.travis is an insane drummer, take kirisute gomen for example

    4. obviously you dont know anything about drumming because lars' style (which is awsome) is nothing like travis' style. your a fucking retard i dont know why you make comments about shit you know nothing about.

5.im not saying nick is a shit drummer, i dont personally like his style.

6.to me trivium without travis is like pantera without dimebag

  • @seanyboy212 well getting your dick sucked to where it throbs feels pretty fucking good so the album was good ? :o

  • @seanyboy212 agreed fully

  • @seanyboy212 I hope you don't consider yourself a fan of Trivium.

  • @seanyboy212 Correction: The best fucking album is ALL OF THEM.

  • @seanyboy212 obviously your not a musician yourself because if you were (and wasn't stuck up your own ass) you'd know to respect others music especially of a band you like. Also some of Trivium's best pieces are from The Crusade, I personally love every album and cant say I like any better. So all I'm trying to say is please respect music more instead of acting like a critic because your just looking like an ass.

  • @seanyboy212 the crusade was huge in their development. no crusade, no shogun/in waves

  • @seanyboy212 id have to say i think Shogun is Triviums masterpiece

  • @seanyboy212 Ember to Inferno, Ascendancy, In Waves, Shogun, The Crusade. : /

  • @seanyboy212 Travis hardly played the same thing. Nick only knows metalcore. I mean Nicks decent but he doesn't have his own sound. Also although you're entitled to your opinion the crusade was the record that pushed them as musicians. I mean in the song The Crusade Travis did a lot of technical things that sadly Nick can't do. When shattering the skies above came out his blast beats in it were turbo thin. And he's kind of sloppy. I mean nothing for nothing Travis won drummer of the universe

  • @seanyboy212 The Crusade is awesome, yes Heafy's screaming vocals were abandoned in that album but lyrically its Trvivium's best album

  • @slawdog8 I agree that Travis was probably better, but I think this album is awesome. I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't. Lol.

  • @hurricane7sparkx I think Nick fits in well better with Trivium, I never really liked Travis' technique it always felt weird sorta dunno how to explain, but 2 of my favourite tracks with him on drums is gunshot to the head, and becoming the dragon the rest are just acceptable coz it's Trivium

  • @slawdog8 wtf you talking about? the crusade was one of trivium's best album's

  • @Carticin11 Agreed.

  • @hurricane7sparkx

    Double agreed.

  • @Carticin11 NO

  • @slawdog8 Its a matter of opinion.

  • @slawdog8 Nick gave whole new energy to the music on this album. He fits perfectly.

  • @slawdog8 WTF ARE U ALL TALKING ABOUT!?!??!?! I think this is their best album! The others are also amazing! So stfu and enjoy it! -.-"

  • @slawdog8 You are absolutely retarded. Yes, Nick is not as good as Travis, but this album was still amazing. True Trivium fans will realize that.

  • @slawdog8 This album has some very Ascendancy style riffs on it tbh. The Crusade didnt

  • @slawdog8 i disagree i think this is triviums second best album

  • you should stop watching the damn flaws and simply enjoy the songs

  • @slawdog8

Crusade sucked but the rest of the albums are great.....i liked 1 or 2 on crusade and this one i like all but one song...and im really not sure who is better travis or nick both are good though :)
