  • WOW I never knew anything about wood graining. THis is truly an art form. Great work

  • My parents owned a '34 Packard in the early 50's and recalled that she used to polish the wooden dash with Marveer polish only to find out that it wasn't real wood.

  • where can i buy a roller with that pattern at????

  • The tools are at woodgrainingdotcom

  • May I know what is the material which you used, and role, ink, plastic and all materials, just I would like to do same as what you did, and how it be as what you showed us in the video.

  • Interesting, and well done, but will never replicate a proper veneer job.

  • @Taff1967SC Yes but veneer would not be proper for this dash.

This type of woodgraining was done from the mid 20s until 1953

The car of the Dome in the Chicago World's Fair in 1934

Was all Veneer and real wood and the dash was woodgraining and so was the Horn Ring. I know because I did that cars woodgraining. Really nothing beats the look of real wood, But Woodgraining has a long history in the automotive field.

    Thanks Jdee

  • @JdeeRat No denying that, I think mostly on American cars it does have a long history. Neat looking effect.

  • @Taff1967SC Thanks, yes I think I have only done One Jag one Mercedes

and an Aston Martin in the past 11 years. So just about all were Older American cars for sure.
