You don't even know how hard it is to truly live with Hera Krishna consciousness. I am trying so hard but I can't seem to reach that state where you are 100% devoted to Krishna.
Very personal documentary. I love how the 3 young men share their experience. What a blessing that they found God when other young (and not so young) people are risking ruining their lives.

Seriously, the next time a Diety comes down here to pose as the Supreme being, I'm going to be right there to help him/her deliver as song or mantra thats actually pleasent for Human Beings. Just to add my comment, I am the guy in the video! To settle this debate, professorxvile is right. The state of mind I was in, I would have got sucked into anyting that came along. That came along first. I am now happily out of the movement (left about 3 or 4 years ago), an atheist, happier and more at peace than I ever was following someone elses plan for my life.

furthermore spiritual growth requires many things including conquering lust, by refraining from sexual activity and therefore not succuming to sexual desire leaves a build up of sexual tension in the body, you need to do something to counteract it.
the best method is sincerely chanting hare krishna for spiritual growth, or other methods such as trying to avoid it by exercising at the gym etc

Sadly iskCON Newcastle are not teaching him this, as they want him to become a slave of one of their 80+ BOGUS voted-in "Gurus".
Dave actually found a spiritual master as he went to stay in an ashram for a couple of years in California. Dave was aware of ISKONS view and sought his own path within the religion

Srila Prabhupada is a spiritual tree and his disciples are like fruits of that tree, if you say that his disciples cannot train others then you are not glorifying Srila Prabhupada at all. This is the parampara- from Fiji Islands where ISKCON is growing nicely

one may look upon the founder of the movement for siksa, not diksa. though there may be those unqualified, there also are those that are qualified and worthy to accpet diksa from.

nonsense, Prabhupada is NOT just some siksha guru. He is the Sole Diksha Guru of ISKCON he is not 'dead' , 'unavailable' Prabhupada never authorised anyone to become guru in ISKCON they are illegally SELF APPOINTED. Even Tamal addmitted it on tape when he was suspended;
"Actually Prabhupada never appointed any gurus. He appointed eleven ritviks. He never appointed them gurus.(Tamal Krishna Goswami, Pyramid House Confessions 1980)

At 07:51 the devotee says that he wants to become more serious about Krsna consciousness and look for a spiritual master. So who has taught him what he knows so far? The answer is Srila Prabhupada (through his books & recordings). Therefore Srila Prabhupada is his spiritual master. Sadly iskCON Newcastle are not teaching him this, as they want him to become a slave of one of their 80+ BOGUS voted-in "Gurus".

Dave actually found a spiritual master as he went to stay in an ashram for a couple of years in California. Dave was aware of ISKONS view and sought his own path within the religion
