The Armada series was plagued by bad writing, bad dubbing, and bad acting (especially Optimus) throughout. Actually alot of the Unicron Trilogy was with this cast.

At least Megatron's actor was fairly decent.

the trilogy has more in common with the original than the gay TF: Animated. Mini-con idea almost the same as targetmasters, Galavatron Energon design resembles the original, Prime's personality being exactly the same as the original, him turning gray at the end, Starscream's ghost, fighting for Energon
