  • My dog just took a crap on the carpet while i watched this and thought: "True shit!"

  • I thought there were no more smart Americans.. I was wrong

  • Perfcetly said a lot of what ive been thinking over for a long long time,, please people wake the ,,,, up

  • study the balance of power

  • Jared Loughner/G. Giffords is a joke. Why did she subscribe to his YT channel just before the so-called "shooting" occurred? That whole story has a bunch of holes in it. Check out some of the vids on the Giffords shooting to decide for yourself before you believe some of the things that go on in the media. Or, better yet, check out dallasgoldbug at vimeo dot com to see some of the things he is saying.

  • @hillsideklepht theirs one fundamental problem with saying the zeitgeist movement inspired jared loughner to do what he did...the movement did not exist when the incident happened and anybody who watches a movie and misinterprets and goes out and kills somebody they obviously have some kind of mental problem before hand.

  • Jared Loughner was a big fan of this filmmaker.

  • This reporters pissin' me off.

I hate the way he talks, like he's speakin' to classroom of retards.

  • Peter Joseph while well intentioned is the ultimate armchair quarterback.

There are people right now trying to make sure that 3rd world poor have enough drinkable water. JUST water. Using the latest technology and lots of financial backing. They aren't even close.

The philosophy defies human psychology. Give kids everything they need and do they want for naught? They usually become spoiled.

Providing for people with latest technology and cent. planning has been done countless times before.

  • @sirellyn I would say providing someone with basic needs like food, water, shelter as spoiling them. Belonging to a society should have benefits imo. It's like belonging to a club in some sense. Basic needs should be taken care of and everyone should have equal access to needs as well as education and health care. That is my opinion tho.

  • @drizel462 *wouldn't

  • @drizel462 The reason people don't have the rights to products or services is because someone else has to create or provide them. In other words, if you believe people shouldn't be slaves you also believe they shouldn't be forced to work for something.

So you can have slavery with "free" education and health care. Or you can have freedom with the right to pursue learning and good health.

  • @sirellyn "Give kids everything they need and do they want for naught? They usually become spoiled."

Our current biological body is flawed including the brain. To blame kids for being "spoiled" is missing the whole point of self-improvement when there comes a point in which you go up against basic human bodily limits and then you realize how inherently flawed people are.

    youtube[dot]com/watch?v=wMBDnLqaJxU

  • @technatezin I was using kids as the analogy for testing the logic axiom "providing for all needs makes behavior good".

How do you even qualify "flawed" for all human beings? What is your definition of "unflawed"?

Your link when properly formatted did not work.

  • @sirellyn Okay, the link doesn't work.

Do a youtube search with: "neil degrasse tyson stupid humans"

in the youtube search bar. The video clip should come up. This should show you how flawed we really are. It is only human arrogance and our own human centric perspective that uplifts our ego and convinces us of our superior intelligence and capabilities among the animal world which in reality is very slight in "distance". About 2 percent separates us from poop flinging chimps.

  • @technatezin After waiting Neil deGrasse Tyson. Interesting guy. You're juggling a number of different concepts. So I'll stick to the original point.

I never blamed kids for being spoiled. I inferred that fulfilling needs as a method to produce better behavior is illogical.

  • @technatezin Look, you are mind reading and then tangent jumping here. I never confused needs with wants, however the VP movement often has.

The VP purpose for fulfilling need is to abscond greed. This doesn't work as greed is desire without care or concern. In other words, greed attaches to want in any absence of need.

Drastic reduction of potential (options) + dogma is the only way to reduce options to "want" and therefore the percentage of greed.

That cost is far too high.

  • @sirellyn "Drastic reduction of potential (options) + dogma is the only way to reduce options to "want" and therefore the percentage of greed."

How did this discussion jump from "spoiled" kids to the reduction of greed in an RBE society? Greed for material things are not necessary when access abundance to the most up to date and renewable products are available. Access abundance itself is made possible if we rationally determine usage time and personal priority for each product.

  • @technatezin I switched from the "how" giving people basic needs doesn't work to the "why" - Always in the context of PJ's views(RBE), see original post.

"Greed" for social or material things still happens. It happens whenever anyone anyone desires something but needs to "step on" someone else to get it. It happens for credit for scientific achievement, or sports achievement or helping known friends vs others in councils.

Supplying needs doesn't stop greed, which is its purpose.

  • @sirellyn It's not only about supplying needs. It's altso about educating people properly and not promoting competition and instead promote collaboration.

  • @Xtclilium I covered this previously. Dogma (education in this sense) reduces desire. However competition happens as a matter of circumstance coupled with communication. There will always be imperfect communication with trying situations and therefore they'll always be competition. You can improve communication of course and increase collaboration.

Trade forces communication and collaboration, which is a reason why restricting it can be dangerous. Sanctions are found before war.

  • @sirellyn For example, most sports car on city roads are really nothing, but pretentious "in your face" status symbols that some rich narcissist wants to show to everyone that he's somehow better than them because he can afford to buy something that is super expensive and super high performance even though he's rarely going to have the chance to race the car at maximum speeds on city streets.

Discarding with all the pretentious status symbol crap will let us focus on actual quality.

  • @technatezin And if you choose not to agree with technatezin's valuation of sportscars then you're "brainwashed". Right?

  • @BigDaddyBongos Alright, then tell me exactly why would a person who views a car as nothing more than a transportation machine that is used to get him from point A. to point B. while traveling in crowded city streets should purchase modern sportscars unless the ulterior motive is to show how much of a wealthy narcissist he is compared to somebody else?

  • @technatezin Here's a thought: Ask them.

But really they don't even have to answer the question anyway. Unless they're a criminal then they earned the money that they used to spend on the car and they're not obligated to justify their reasoning to anyone. This outrage is as usless as someone raging over why a woman chooses to wear heels or revealing clothing instead of some utilitarian jumpsuit or a burkha.

  • @BigDaddyBongos The point being the ulterior motives are what drove these consumers to purchase the products that they do.

It's the dark twisted desires lurking in the minds of everyone that they dare not say aloud, but we all know what's going on in there for all those who are wise enough to see it and understand it.

  • @technatezin The person is the primary source of information for their own motives. But instead of respecting that person as an independant human being PJ just assumes that they're "brainwashed" and that they have "twisted desires". The only thing that statement proves is that the person 1. dislikes other people buying sportscars 2. Thinks they know what's in the minds of other people. Maybe through ESP eh? lol

  • @sirellyn (cont.) Recreational toys and games are wants for example. They are not critical for maintaining good bodily health, but sometimes necessary for relaxation and creativity purposes.

To produce "better" behavior is a complicated subject, but manipulating wants could work if you are implying that. But, a better method would be to adjust present teaching/learning methods to reflect the current state of technology to produce a much more effective educational media for teaching.

  • @sirellyn (cont.) It's natural for human society to progress in this fashion where more and better technology is used for enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of human activities including the activity of teaching and learning.

Before the printing press and book binding the main method of information transfer was by word of mouth and individually written and copied scrolls. Now with computers it's natural for us to harness this for more effective information transfer vs. books

  • @sirellyn (cont.) For the leading cognitive members of humanity or what some people would call "geniuses" that are trying to pull the rest of humanity out of their ape shit muck, blaming inherent human frailties as being "spoiled" is counter productive to say the least.

  • Fuck me, has to be said again.....interviewer is a douche.

  • RT channel obviously supports Russia, Iran, North Korea and Syria.

RT channel is totally anti-American, for that reason Peter Joseph and zeitgeist is going to be ant-american.

He should appear on channels that popular in US. I wish he could stop to talking on RT Channels. He will become a criminal couple years later.

  • @greek595 As if any of the mogul-owned mainstream media outlets would allow Peter Joseph on them, bar a minor miracle.

  • great peter! keep the fight. the change has already started.

    love and wisdom to everyone

  • this video.. so true

  • I fear the world will not change. this beatifull earth will be destroyed by us, because we never acted, against our masters.

  • To all those TVP/TZM naysayers -- tell me your solution to our woes! More capitalist madness?

TZM & TVP have real solutions. The monetary system will doom us all eventually unless we change big time.

Peter said things a few years ago and they look like they are coming to pass -- more wars, monetary collapse (just look at the bank bailout disasters).

Our so called "democracy" is a joke.

  • @Laoch111 You aren't witnessing capitalism right now. All societies TVP points to as good examples are tribal, tiny population, small and never advanced technologically. Many were dependent on outside technological resources.

All great inventions/discoveries came from societies engaged in some form of capitalism.

The corrupt fascism and crony capitalism of now has to go back to actual capitalism.

Don't mistake human psychology for capitalism. Too many have already died from that error.

  • Peter is an articulate man who has a great understanding for what it would take to live in a better world. What is so sad is that fear and greed both permeate our culture. And it's because of these factors that the status quo is held by so many in such high regard. You can't take anything but experience with you when you die. Stop trying to own everything and start trying to simply experience it. The plutocracy will fall.

  • The interviewer is alright

  • some good points

  • I really appreciate his explanation between needs and wants.

  • US public education's goal is to create people who are patriotic and able to function in a free enterprise system. It doesn't teach people how to think for themselves or practical problem solving skills. It creates people who protect the status quo, and are scared to think "outside the box".

  • This guy and his followers are perfect examples of the failure of public education.

  • @sheepOG first off, peter joseph has no 'followers', within the zeitgeist movement there is no figurehead or leader. It is a movement to increase awareness of the society we are living in while providing paths to change it through education. Yes, I will agree that public education fails far, far too many and that indicates not a problem with millions upon millions of people, it indicates a problem with the system itself. Public education now is as detrimental to public health as mainstream media

  • @tragicpoetics lol Sure dude. You might as well say that it's not brainwashing when Peter Joseph does it.

  • Why do we have to have ideology dictating policy? Why can't we just have evidence based policies that work?

    Ideology sucks!

  • shall we destroy ourselves or turn the beacon of creation toward change?choice is ours, choose wisely my friends, I believe in the zeitgeist movement! life is meant to be lived without boundaries but with encouraged exploration of our home PLANET... the only one we ever had. Quit making things so complicated with money and structures and institutions read between the lines and free your mind,TRUE knowledge is the birth of equality manifest out of tradition and create a new you, MODIFY EVERYDAY

  • Amazing Peter, as always..

  • This guy just lost me, as he clearly knows nothing about the global economic system. First of all, Gasoline is cheaper now than it was fifty years ago. Second, we don't even even have free-market capitalism. How do you pretend to be the one to know how to change things when you don't even know what's wrong?

  • @UponInfinity like you do....

  • @UponInfinity And by the way, you are saying oil is getting cheaper, so explain me how a finite material like oil or petroleum can go cheaper... i mean logically should be that the less there is the more it cost... i don't understand your calculation... explain.

  • @thecloudhead658 Well, what are you measuring oil in, dollars? Measure it in silver dollars, you know, that thing that used to be money. A silver dollar will buy you more gasoline today than it did fifty years ago. Federal Reserve Notes depreciate with time because they are based on nothing but your imagination. Oil is cheaper because effieciency and productive capacity has increased and more countries are outputting more oil

  • @thecloudhead658 Peter is using the depreciating value of the dollar to convince you that it is getting more expensive. It's not. Oil did not get expensive, it's the money that got too cheap. Either he's an economic illiterate (and therefore not qualified to comment on how to completely restructure an economy), or he's purposefully deceptive in this interview, by saying this current crises is somehow a failure or either free markets or capitalism, of which we have neither.

  • @thecloudhead658 Peter is using the depreciating value of the dollar to convince you that it is getting more expensive. It's not. Oil did not get expensive, it's the money that got too cheap. • More worn-out, washed-up State-Socialist nonsense with new stylized names and terms.

  • @qwertypoiu4321 how so?

  • @snakeboy471 He is copying the same fallacious Anti-Exchange (and exchange medium), 'Gift Economy' views of Kropotkin-types.

So-called 'Zeitgeist'/'Venus Project' nonsense is just more worn-out, washed-up State-Socialist nonsense with new stylized names and terms; nothing more.

  • @qwertypoiu4321 WOW there are really some selfish people like yourself... what he proposes is a better world, not perfect, but better, now the problem is that people like yourself fails to understand that your own well being depends on the well being of environment and society as a whole, so is not about an ideology but rather about having a more evolved state of consciousness, period.

  • What about those who need pussy? Should we give them it to prevent rape? How do we go about that?

  • @Vintexen No one "needs" pussy, how ridiculous! Besides, what do you think pornography and masturbation is for?

  • @IAM18YEARSOLDANDOVER Than this is proof that people don't commit crimes just to get what they need

  • @Vintexen you're an idiot

  • i agree with peter joseph. imagine if the 34,000 cchildren that die had proper education and safe enviroment. just imagine all the human minds work on problems of the world. this system destroys the most amazing thing created on this planet... the human mind.

  • most people think money is everything, money is the top of the pyramid it controls and slaves human kind with no effort or force look at it this way everyone came into this world with nothing and when you die you will leave with nothing think about that when you waste hours and hours at work,in a job you hate

  • the interviewer sounds like paulie shore

  • Genius.

    Brilliant speaker.

Best 10 minutes news I've seen in quite a long time..:)

We people have to wake up.

  • We want Peter Joseph for president

  • @zerogascar but there is no need for politics!! ;)

  • Nice video, but I don't think this wonderful change is ever going to happen. The status quo is too appealing, and the inertia is too strong.

  • 09:53 - 09:54

  • An economy of abundance is something I've often heard espoused by marxists. However, mere evolutionary psychology can demonstrate how we wish to attain social status (by material resources/property or people to control/murder/manipulate) because the organisms that did that, got to procreate.

  • @ReX342 I'm sorry, but it seems to me that penis going into vagina has little to do with attaining social status (whatever that means) by killing or manipulating people. In Peter Jospeh's world, 'social status' could be attained by being a productive, kind, sharing, mentally HEALTHY person. Just because you are a nasty little malformed turd of the system that needs to trick and convince a woman to fuck you doesn't mean we all are.

  • @KYLEofLONDON excellent!

  • It doesn't bother me at all that he's specifically making money, it's that all his information is just complete bullshit. I was so disappointed when I first found out, but there are very little credible sources he uses - seriously everyone look up the info sources he uses before mindlessly believing, he's just a douche.

  • @Sparnage Visit the zeitgeistmovement web site....reasearch it.....visit their movie site , and watch the movies he has released . Come later here and we will talk about it.

  • @ronnieflipps1 1 - No, it has actually decreased thezeitgeistmovement . com / joomla/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=229&id=342095&Itemid=100114&lang=en . So did the waistline.

  • Rev 13 v 16,17 says unless we wear the mark of the beast we cannot buy or sell, but if we live without money then that is not a threat to us.

  • Is it just me or does the news guy sound like a retarded robot?

    (no offence news guy)

  • Comment removed

  • @DandRFilms1 Yeah, and that money goes towards maintaining a site and forum which gets A LOT of hits everyday. Look at other social organizations who recognize similar problems yet offer no solution - they tons of crap (general waste associated with the organization) and yet Zeitgeist gets attacked because they sell a damn t-shirt for 5$ or DVDs which could be charged 20$ if not more for.

  • @DandRFilms1 I really believe that spending money (while we still ARE in the monetary system) to the zeitgeist movement , is a much more better idea then spend money on say some religion like "Pay 500 dollars to us and god will make u happy" ...or some bullshit like that.

  • I could see the Zeitgeist Movement succeeding. In a relatively short time, given the exponential increase in just about EVERYTHING in the last century..

  • I'd like to ask Peter why he thinks humans as a species are worth saving given the way we treat the planet and animals. I'd argue that it's not society that is aberrant, but nature when she created us. Maybe it's time we begin to accept our fate as the worst catastrophe ever to occur on Earth. No matter how much information we have access to, we're dumber than ever before - we don't even know how shove seeds in the ground to feed our kids. I just hope when the cancer dies, the host still thrives

  • @smurfieboo That goes back to the Nature vs. Nurture Argument. Are we born bad, or does the world make us bad? You seem to follow the ideas of Hobbes and other Enlightenment thinkers, that people are born bad, regardless of their environment. I suggest you look into experiments in human empathy, altruism, and cooperation. In the way of books, I'de suggest "Superfreakonomics" and "The Empathic Civilization", and the talks at RSA/Ted these authors have given.

    Just a suggestion.

  • the interviewer is a fucking tool

  • @LOOP2012 hes aight. anyone who puts peter on tv or takes the time to talk to him is a good guy in my book.

  • @LOOP2012

dont look at it that way, in anyway journalism....there is always in opposition, its called DRAMA....just how the game is when it comes to journalism, so that the interviewee can defend his or hers ideals....RT isnt a tool they speak the truth, but i understand ur comment at its points...

  • @LOOP2012 Do you know his background? Do you know his values? Do you know how big his dick is? Then stfu

  • @LOOP2012 he is just a poor brainwashed man

  • @LOOP2012

    Good choise :D lol

  • Well, all I have to say is ... whatever the zeitgeist movement says is serious. Crime also exists for social mentaldiade there today. And schools, I think they are not teaching there very well that this society has today. Compared with the movement, the school is at a disadvantage. Just believe that Hitler committed suicide. But he did not suiside, he suffered a stomach cancer and died in 1950 when they fled into Barcelona.

  • i think the venus project-type system would be great, but it would NEED to be TOTALLY accepted by EVERYONE, otherwise, it would just be a fascist type system. i don't agree that the venus project would be able to be a purely scientific system, because there are moral and philosophical issues that would have to be addressed, like abortion, security, and property and resource distribution, and human rights and protectoin, and human choice; very very tricky....

  • @mathexalias Jaque fresco , has already thought about those problems his entire life. His entire life from the beginning when he was a teenage he has been creatinb this "resource based economy" the whole idea is basically ready already , people just need to know about this , so we can make it happen.

  • @brightdigitalproduct sorry, i upgraded the cmnt for you

  • Hi my name is Peter Joesph an I am against the monetary system. I think monetary system is the biggest problem in this world, but please buy my new film for $9 or 10 pack for $54. I even have zeitgeist movement t-shirts for $19.50

  • Peter Joesph = The monetary system is the problem in this world, but please buy my films for $5

  • @DexArtist whilst still in the monetary system, he, like everyone else, needs to earn money. retards like you are just slowing things down and keeping it that way.

  • @BrightDigitalProduct I understand your frustrations completely! I would advise you not to use that attitude if you are trying to get through to someone. Some people will be turned off to even join this movement if you have a bad attitude. If you really want to start getting people's respects to give you the time of day, than there's probably no better way than to help them or even pick up trash (i.e. community outreach).

  • @BrightDigitalProductHey I'm not doing any community support right now. But I am going to get some people together and start something.Because I too am TIRED of people not giving us TZM followers the time of day. And I truly believe the most powerful means of getting someone inspired in joining something is by helping people. Because a movement is only as good as the people who are members of it.Once community support comes in on a wide-scale, expect a whole new perception of us and the movement

  • @DexArtist

    jeeezes fuck off

  • Aaaahhhh Utopia - nice concept. Too bad we have the current power structure. And he did touch on that one point - the Federal Reserve. The rest of it was a fluff piece.

  • Zeitgeist offers solutions - but how do you get the corporate pathological neurotic sociopaths & megalomaniacs to step down? How can the wake up call penetrate the heavily doped up brainwashed politicians / military / police serving the nutters running the show to stop accepting their 30 silver coins and playing Judas betraying the rest of their brothers & sisters on earth? They believe the lies of darkness / satan that they can have all wealth & power, but he won't share with anyone

  • @HeLpLOstGOdAny1 By explaining to them how things can be 50x better then they now are.

  • @HeLpLOstGOdAny1 Well I would say only thing that really works..revolution :) although what kind exactly I don't know. More or less eventually their has to be a massive wake up of this ponzi scheme. If not it will be a VERY slow progression of anything in this world, when as it has been for thousands of years the rich in control of the poor for their own benefit. The founders tried, however they couldn't have forseen this crime against humanity we call the FIAT capitalist system.

  • @trikd13 sadly I agree with you, though Buddha said Hatred never ceases thru hatred only love & Jesus pray for your enemy, yet it seems the only thing holding back the wicked el-ite plan are the oath keepers in the USA who are armed to the teeth ...

  • d333b: Why is the population so retarded? Flouride, TV, pollution, oppression, bad education, despair, guilt.....but mainly preoccupation - WAKE 'EM UP!

  • In 07' rich guys bought a bunch of oil & created a bubble like now, remember the last time there was $4/gal. They want to make people revolt! This is the end of this version of the matrix, & the new version will have a built in fail, also.

  • People dont understand PJ. Its a shame. He is truly a great human being. His idea and solution is amazing. The people on this planet are so dumb, it a f'n disgrace!

  • no ones stopping animals from being skinned alive, so how can anyone stop all the bad things man kind does? and even if there were no more money and everything is free, that wouldn't stop violence like rape, hate filled people, stalking, and all the stupid things.

  • @yydmos If we bring down the monetary system completely, and establish a resource-based economy, there would be no need to skin animals for profit. Also, in a free society, people would be happier, and therefore, all crime, even non-monetary based ones, would go down. Also, we could have free schools to train all women the best self-defense techniques in order to prevent rape.

  • @yydmos Well first of all think about the reasons why animals are skinned alive. Thinki about what causes that behaviour at the root level. It's a neuroses problem. And how do those neuroses ngenerated? Coz it sure isn't in our genes. It's surely not human nature, coz if it were you would see an identical pattern of human behaviour all over the world. You never hear about rapists and serial killers in egalitarian tribes do you?

  • @yydmos in the long term those things would be gone not the short term everything takes time to adjust.

  • its a pipe dream. imperfect men creating a perfect society is near, if not impossible.. Quashing greed would be necessary and theres always going to be greedy people that feel they deserve more. then theres yahoos like this guy who feels hes his gift to the world, when all he has done is comprise pre-existing ideas into a neat package and calling it his own. oh, and many people died as a result of the manhattan project, we dont need another manhattan project.......

  • @JamesOscar

First, it's not a perfect world, but hell yeah it will be better than the one we are living in today. Second, greed comes from capitalism. People are not greedy by nature. If you live in a society that requires you to be greedy, selfish and ruthless, that's the person you will become. Greed comes from something people tell you that you want, need and have to have, but you don't have it and cannot have it. Advertising does the rest. Hence, capitalism breeds greed.

  • @highlander985 i totally agree. although, capitalism is not the only means for breeding corruption and greed.

  • @JamesOscar And I can guarantee that EVERY figure who has EVER advocated social change has been told the EXACT SAME THING by their critics. You know it's attitudes like yours that maintains the status quo. Things can happen. If people like yourself stop holding humanity back. There are PLENTY of people who wanna change things. So get the hell out of the way.

Maybe you can try actually paying attention instead of dismissing something just coz it interferes with your current way of thinking.

  • @AAUTZM but what kind of change is really hiding behind their facade? is it Ghandi change? Hitler change?..... change from this tyrannical government would be great,if we went closer to freedom. but, mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy. kid'll eat ivy too, wouldn't you?

  • @JamesOscar Think about the difference between the kinds of change promoted by those in establishment power, and by those merely in positions of anti-establishment influence. Notice that there is a pattern.

Nothing the government proposes will ever lead to any degree of freedom. I find it interesting that you acknowledge how tyrannical the current governmental structure is, and yet you allude to an RBE being even worse.

I'm not sure what you mean by that last sentence though.

  • @AAUTZM i think u miss my point mate. i am strongly anti-establishment. what i was saying in that last bit was, if sheep can be led to the slaughter one way, why not another? sheep arent as smart as they think they are you know? and things are many times, not what they seem. PJ talks of how terrible the world is, which is satan's product. yet, he never speaks of God, satan's opposition. our enemy is evil in man. being righteous to each other and all living things is a step towards free, yes?

  • @JamesOscar Then that implies that people are encourages to follow without thinking on BOTH directions. Just because TZM advocates an RBE which is global in scope, does that automatically imply, dictate or suggest that a sheeple following is required? Maybe you missed the point of "leaderless movement". Maybe you missed the point in Addendum when Jiddu Krishnamurti said "You yourself ae the teacher and the pupil you are the guru you are the master you are the leader, you are EVERYTHING"

  • @AAUTZM i am only sharing my thoughts. none of this is ever meant to be an attack, ever.what im saying is there are many ways to herd us into that very same slaughterhouse...... and, you are entitled to your own opinions and beliefs, i just dont share them with you.i believe i am a part of everything, we all are of the same. but i do not believe i am God. i am a son of god. are we all our fathers? well, yes....and no.

  • @JamesOscar Your position of satan and god is coming from the precept that they actually exist. But please don't try to bolster your argument with a supposition that someone else's points are invalid purely because they do not speak of your own personal beliefs.

There is no evil in man, if we wanna talk about it in these terms. Evil is TAUGHT to man and it is GENERATED by the self-absorbed, cancerous, exploitative genocidal and ecocidal economic system that we live in.

  • @AAUTZM ok. fair enough. i am so encompassed in my beliefs that its hard for me to step back out and speak on a neutral ground. for that , i apologize. on the 2nd, just who is teaching man this evil?

  • @JamesOscar WE teach this "evil". Everytime we submit to or perpetuate the system, we are teaching mankind that self-interest equals success. That despotism equals morality. And that segregation equals security.

It is these attributes that facilitate and enable our relinquishing and/or lack of development of critical, analytical and objective thinking, thus resulting in our control.

  • @AAUTZM and are we not men? ;)

  • @JamesOscar Of course we are.

  • @Maat922 and Kennedy on the 50ct piece, dont forget that one!

  • We can't get out of debt because the monetary system as its structured is debt based~money is created as debts. Debt is a very effective way to dominate and control people. Money could be spent into existence by the government and banks could be regulated to full reserve lending. More likely in the short term because greed is having its day is the system will go into chaos and rigidity until it really breaks down.

  • Crime is caused by the fact that we have things. If everybody had NOTHING, nobody would be able to steal from anybody. We need to go back to primitive times when we had to hunt every day for food and didn't even have clothes. Sure, many people would starve or freeze to death, but nobody would be envious, and there would be almost zero theft. Everybody would be about equally miserable. Perhaps people would kill each other more often, but what the heck -- no idea is perfect.

  • 00:24 he says "MY OWN creative expression"... brilliant!!!

  • LOL "whatever sort of dominancei s occuring, the sort of, flavour of the month" LOL this guy says everything so bluntly

  • how is 95 percent of crime based on money when 50 percent of the prison population is incarcerated on account of drugs

  • @LetsTalkPolitix : People make drugs to make money

  • @LetsTalkPolitix And why are they selling drugs?

  • @LetsTalkPolitix Think about it. People sell drugs in order to make MONEY. Furthermore, corrupt laws, such as making cannabis illegal, are put there in the first place because of MONEY. People profit off of the law. They profit off of prisons, which some are privately-owned by the way. "We will let him go if you give us money" spoken as "it will be $100,000 to bail him out.” Make a law and make profit - that's how it works. And if cannabis were legal, Big Pharma would go under.

  • @LetsTalkPolitix dont people sell drugs for Money? duh

  • 5:19 LoooL what a illusion of democracy..

  • the give thats giving the interview sounds funny

  • it must be daily torment to be that genius and still have to walk among us.

  • @eggknob - Actually for a lot of us, it really REALLY is. To have to walk among all of you amazingly stupid individuals is incredibly difficult. Not on the basis of the current economic system, I mean the general anti-intellectual frame of mind that so so many are wandering around with.

I cannot even begin to convey how hard it is to even get out of bed in the morning when you exist in a world inhabited mostly by fools.

  • @shalafi00 Did you think I was being sarcastic? I was serious. Peter's genius is painfully obvious, and torment comes with the territory, believe me, I know.

  • @eggknob - OH! My apologies! You do know... I'm sorry for both of us now.

  • Peter constantly amazes me with his ability to speak about these subjects in such short amounts of time. These are ideas that really merit 4-5 hour long discussions in order to effectively communicate.

  • Jacque Fresco doesn't even like the Zeitgeist Movement watch?v=YGcH8-c0Hp8

  • @crystalmethod1000 No, some dicks promoted misinformation on The Zeitgeist Movement's understandings and activities, hence the recent disruption. Fortunately, facts are being straightened out on behalf of both TZM and TVP, and the relationship is being rebuilt.

Any major organizations are subject to lack in communication, especially with the pressure and current structure of both bodies today. Luckily, both groups are moving forward now, hopefully to prevent from such dilemmas in the future.

  • 102 people are lost

  • @BoonetubeThis dude is showing me the way?He tells half the truth to suck you in the new world order this is propaganda at its fullest. The first part of zeitgeist is a straght out LIE,he sucks you in by saying the trueth of 9/11 and tha banksters and then telling you about the venus project. Venus project AKA NWO.And 102 ppl that dislike just a few do becaus of part one of the film.Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it.

  • @kalikatik1 is that the "trueth" hah.

  • @kalikatik1 watch the documentaries first, there is no mention of Venus Project in the first film, so you give a weak argument from the get go. There are many "NWO" talk going around and if TVP is considered an NWO it is certainly the least harmful

  • A lot of the "research" in the Jesus portion of Zeitgeist is fraudulent. And these guys exhibit strong douchenozzle tendencies.... not the kind of folks I want engineering my society...

There's nothing I'd like more than to see everyone getting the necessities... but is that really realistic? Wouldn't it totally kill industry? I mean, no one wants to work in a coal mine, do they?

  • @GhostofCliffGullett Ouch...okay, I'd advise actually researching the Venus Project before making another post. It's very important that you actually KNOW the information you seek to criticize...if you had done so, you would have already realized that the Venus Project does NOT condone supporting slave labor...at all...period. Regardless of your opinion pertaining others...you are willing to put industry over the lives of how many people starving to death? Who's being the douche now?

  • @GhostofCliffGullett The films were produced as artistic expressions, Z1 has a lot of errors but also a lot of truth. The movies are completely separate to the movement. When it comes to what the Zeitgeist Movement advocates for 'engineering society', that is The Venus Project (not the 'same guys' who did the movie). Look up Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project, watch the videos, read the literature :)

  • @mattfryy So that's there excuse they use after being exposed by the efforts of truthful observers to admit their inaccuracies... "artistic expression." So let's all follow the artistic expressionists into utopia. The zeightfreak Venus Project is a Glogalists Intelligence Op used to steer the awakening masses of the western world into the abyss.
