@lukaszlec80 im a survivor jackass i was diagnosed at 10 years old and even with medical supervision dropped to 75 pounds I could have died any minute luckily pumping enuff steriods in me allowed to to regain weight somehow and for the last 12 years ive never wieghed over 135lbs. Who is 'survivor of Crohn's disease'? People with this disease have the same life expectancy as everyone else, how can you survive that? It's not deadly disease if the patient is under medical supervision. Secondly, you can't claim it will help her all the time - 9 years is not long time in Crohn's and I know people with remission times twice as much.. and then it begins again. I would have believed you if you published some REAL medical evidence, which you don't have. And yes I have Crohn's..

I have more experience than just 9 years of disease and I've been where she was - herbs from south america, indian treatments and such. None helped me or my friends. So if you like to smoke weed go for it, but don't fire up everyone's hope around it. There's no magical cure, so don't be the salesmen.

I gave you a definition of Survive, to show you that, life expectancy does not play into Survival. The debate isn't on weed or magical cures. @HortonHeardYa Well, in my language survive equals outlive, hence the incorrect conclusion and English language lesson for me, but nothing more. I may sound bitter, but I'm not. I saw many people advertise the 'magic cures' and as much spending fortunes on them. The topic is as old as Wild West. My advise is to try them, but don't get your hopes high because there is no evidence it helps, just this promo video. You may be disappointed, as this alleged cure for everything really helps nothing.

Hey MedicalMarijuana411. When Rick Simpson made oil he didn't use 2 pounds of buds he used 2 pounds of whole plant cannabis. I remember you said it was discouraging that you needed so much but just grow your own and use the entire plant stems and all. You will get a good yield of oil.

An alternative to marijuana is Cat's Claw. It's also an herb that helps immensely with Crohn's Disease. It got me off all my medication and have been living happily with it ever since. It has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and is used to treat gastrointestinal disorders. I had to start out on 4500mg/day on Cat's Claw. I also recommend the Bob Beck protocol. I have tried it and it does work.

@socceric17 I tried Cats Claw last year, and it was helping a condition I have involving chronic pain, though the doctors still don't know what's causing it. I still don't know why it helped so much. Was it the anti inflammatory properties or do I have an auto immune problem in this certain body area. I thought it was going to cure me but it gave me such wicked constipation (like blockages in my bowels or intestines) that I had to stop taking it. I've got onto a product called Adya Clarity now.
