hey liidan15, there's a lot of truth in what you say, of the 4052 american deaths in iraq 1765 have been caused by IEDs.

The Marines tend to be more tight lipped about the exact cause of death but admit snipper attacks have grown. Both Army and Marine releases typically attribute death in such cases to "small arms fire" or "combat operations"

The Army has reported 234 deaths this year attributed to IEDs, alone or with other causes, with 57 attributed to "small arms fire"
