do yourself a favor and roll on a pvE server.

I first started at the release on a PvP-Server and mainly ever have been there since now (few month pauses inbetween) and then I stepped on a PvE and actually really felt good about it. You don't have that constant pressure on being ganked, you can actually enjoy the landscape & quests WITHOUT being a stealth class. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of pvp but it's sorta too hardcore and "destructive" in AoC.

@Nhordmyr No need to be rude but here in Cimmeria we call that a "Carebear" tactic. I like PvP and I sure as hell dominated a lot of people if not 99% of Cimmeria in 1.04 and in middle of 1.05 before...you know...the other classes got balanced and buffs while Hox's got no improvements. I like the occasional gank also, when I am out questing and an Assassin pops out to kill me thinking I am an easy pray only to be proven wrong is one of the best feelings I get, especially if they try to run away.

The operative word in "Lets play" is play. It's not "lets stare at a login screen" or lets spend nearly half the video making a character." If you really need to talk, make sure you keep things rolling on the screen while you do. Just a tip for future vids.

wooooooooooooaaaaah stop. right there at now we enter the wonderful land of hyboria. i was looking round on ebay for age of conan and all i found was hyborian adventers and rise of the godslayer are these expasnions and do u need the origanal age of conan to play them?

@deathto5 AoC Hyborian adventures IS the first game, not an expansion. Rise of the Godslayer is the expansion. I recommend that you get the expansion with the game because if you don't I don't believe you will have Access to the AA feats which means you will be vastly underpar along with other players who do have it. Also, if you dislike massive grinding then avoid this game. That's what it turned out to be.

@xxDrain I found out the problem that would cause the sound to become a pile of ear rape. Apparently my computer recognized TWO microphones and had both activated. When I deactivated the...not plugged in but recognized microphone problem was fixed!

Lets put it this way; I played wow and guild wars, I loved pvp. Then when I started playing AoC...I loved it because the combat is so involved as melee. You don't just walk up and smack your enemy, you have to click directional attacks and move around....pretty awesome imo.
