Haha that impression was hilarious. I have to admit I do like Twilight but True Blood is 100 times better & does make the vampires in Twilight look like pussies, they're far too nice but oh well there's nothing to say people can't enjoy both. A Slimfast, diet coke of vampires is an accurate description, its not that insulting really. I do think once the Twilight films are finished with though Robert Pattinson is capable of doing something way better.

Twilight the books were a delight and I must say that I was into them BEFORE they even got famous. The teenagers have ruined twilight for me.those damn kids. I also loved the vampire diaries novels BEFORE they got famous and the show ruined it as well:Elena with her horrible acting. The show has bland main characters. Damen, caroline, and matt are the only great sparky characters. True blood has it all: extreme Romance, blood, evil, dark, everything, good acting and great characters.

I'm 33 and I actually enjoy True Blood, the Twilight films AND The Vampire Diaries and I don't think you can compare them coz there there all very different, TB is very very adult it's dark,sexual and a real horror series, Twilight is more fantasy, romantic and family friendly and VD is a sexy romantic action/thriller show there all abt vampires but the stories are told very differently.

Watched that darn movie yesterday. Now I can honestly say that I know it is crap. The story develops way to sudden. All the "action" scenes take place in about 10 minutes in the last quarter of the movie. And Bella and Edward as well as everyone else in that film are just giant socially awkward pussies. That's absolutely hilarious. Twilight was fun, but True Blood is the real deal to me. Stephanie Meyer did weave a nice story, but to me vampires are gritty and bloody and dangerous. That's what I love True Blood for, and Stephen Moyer captured the concept perfectly in his incredibly well-expressed words and adorable sweetheart voice. LOVE.
