I doubt I have ever been so disappointed in a politician. Obama promised to back the disappearing middle class and what do we get? Some patients skin has turned rotten black and they get other health problem because of dialysis. Reform should mean:1. How long a person is allowed treatment 10 years no more. 2. Age limit when a person can start treament cap at 60. If a person have other sever health problems no treatment.

There should be a 10 year cap on dialysis treatment and a out let that allows them to pay for there own treatment and meds if they want to keep on. 60 years should be the cut of time to start receiving dialysis without any major health problems. People that are past the 10 years should get another 5 years no longer. So, if they are at 24 years this will give them 29 years of pain and suffering if they live.

The reason I say mostly is because they're still waiting on some of the smaller banks. I was correct that they had no deadline. I doubt I have ever been so disappointed in a politician. Obama promised to back the disappearing middle class and what do we get? No revenue, trillion dollars in cuts, and whatever else big business says through their lobbied mostly-republican hand-puppets. During talks he said 'don't call my bluff', in addition to the fact that no congressman had said the debt ceiling wouldn't be raised. I will have trouble voting for him again because of this.

There will always be a reduction in governmental ability to pay "the bills" because about at least one to two thirds of the individuals or groups who tend to exercise unethical control of any government apparatus do not know how to use their wealth. One of the principal causes of fiscal financial problems might just turn out to be plain and simple hoarding. The foremost solution would be for government to subsidize developing entrepreneurs to bypass the hoarders.

@apocalypticsmackdown Ok so basically you are trying to tell me that Obama blew 10 Trillion Dollars in 2.5 years? Im sorry but you are leaving so many things out because both wars are still going on. Tarp was made into law Under Bush, and your acting as if none of this borrowed money is not accumulating compounded interest, which adds to the deficit and adds to the debt because we have to borrow more money to pay on the interest and the cycle just continues.

@apocalypticsmackdown Yes surplus. The budget was a balanced one so if revenues and expenses stayed the same we would have a surplus. Of course the Government took in more then it spent the first year of the tax cuts. That's what tax cuts do. They promote spending, except the government has to borrow more money later on to make up for the lost revenue, Then when you add 2 wars, Tarp, and all the other spending you wind up with Borrowing trillions and not just 17Billion

Obama had 3 years to do this, 2 of which he had both houses of congress on his side. Instead he waits for the last second to try and squeeze more shit debt on us. 14 Trillion dollars debt, that is 45,000 ea person, and since 48% don't pay any taxes, that means if you pay taxes , you owe over 90,000. I am sorry, but if I owed that amount in my household, I would be in jail. I hope they don't pass a budget, I hope we default on the loans and I hope we learn to balance our budget in the future.

Mr President, please explain how going further into debt prevents us from losing our AAA credit rating? Especially if it means our debt:GDP ratio is actually going to increase over the next decade? Our credit situation is much worse NOW than it was before. Youve somehow managed to convince people that going deeper into debt helps solve the problem of too much debt.

@apocalypticsmackdown You must account for the Bush tax cuts, Which took us from a budget surplus to a budget deficit, both wars, Bank Bailouts, the prescription drug program, plus all the compounded interest on that money. All which was never paid for. Then you will find the root of our debt problem. Now people can dis like Obama and say the stimulus package got us here but anyone with half a brain can grab a calculator and add up The bag of dog poop bush left us to see where the money went...
