I know how you feel' my husband died at the age of 51 and I was left with the bills. I have retired from one job only to pick up another. I'll have to work til I crawl:). Unfortunatly for me in the USA things are getting worse all the time--we are being taxed to death!!!! So Tobys song of "TIRED" is about where I am at now. Hey what the hang--Merry Christmas !!!

This song reminds me as far as being tired, I am disabled at 38 yrs and living on a very, very fixed income. Trying to be thankful for what my bf and I do have, but going from est 60k to under 2k a month is quite a drastic change in the lifestyle ur used to living:(

my father worked in a coal mine that was Family owned and he worked there since he was 17-42 years old 6 years later at the age of 48 he passed away from cancer reminds me of him he was always Tired

I remember the first time I heard this song, and it still has that mystical feeling it did back then. The song feels like it lasts forever.

This song is timeless, I first heard it when i was 13 or 14 and I liked the mellow tune to and and it reminded me of my father who worked for one company and finally worked his way to being a senior pressman then got laid off because the company was outsourcing.

I now know how he felt been laid off myself due to the economy was working construction and just so tired of wondering how to make ends meet and were the money for our next meal is coming from.

reminds me of my dad who worked for over 30 years at the same job just to be laid off when the company lost money because of the stock market. I also think not being able to work is what killed him.

I worked on the roads all over Australia laying 180 degree bitumen in 50 degree heat for 12 years. I worked 7 days a week 98 hours for 6 months at a time for $750. Watched ass lickers bludge while I shoveld bitumen. Im 56 now. Dont complain about hard work til you have done some.
