Where in the store was the auditorium located? The last time I'd gone was late 1990 or early 1991 but I was only a couple of years old and don't remember anything except the Alice in Wonderland hedge-sculpture display and the petting zoo on the western section of the roof.
@Enigmatism415 To tell you the truth I am not sure, I never been to the one that was in San Francisco. I only one I ever went to was the one that was at the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo
Hooray for Pat! Pat was the Man! I liked watching him on dialing for dollars when I was a little kid because of the way he talked. He'd tell stories and have conversations with the audience and I felt just like Uncle Pat was talking to ME personally! What a guy- and he was so nice. Wiki says he's retired. So if you see this Pat, Thanks for Charlie & Humphrey, TV Pow, Dialing for Dollars (2 from the TOP!) and all the wonderful work you did. You gave us so much and we're so grateful.
I remember Pat....I used to like watching his show just to listen to his voice when I was a kid. He had a comforting voice and could put me to sleep. I wonder if he's still alive?
Thanks for the info, 80s. I found his bio in Connecticut and read his blog. It sounds as if he was just in a pretty bad car accident was taken to the hospital. A friend of mine knew him out here and said he's a great guy, very funny.
Market St still has an Emporium...but its a drug emporium, at 6th and Market! Get you real high!

I remember when Pat McCormick also was part of the Bay Area portion of "The Jerry Lewis Telethon". when it first aired on KTVU.

does anyone know "2 at noon" was a talk show or a news report?
leivictor 4 years ago
It was both -- interviews and news.
VideoRewind 4 years ago
Eric Greene was the host and did all the interviews. Terry Lowry read the news twice an hour. Eric also filled in as anchor on the 10 o'clock news.

Is it strange that an anchor is teasing a murder story as she stands in front of an audience at a shopping mall?

2 at Noon wasn't a good show until Eric Greene took it over, I think with Terry Lowry. Anyone know where he is now?
megamedia 4 years ago
He was an anchor in Vermont for a while a few years ago. I think he does cable news in CT now.

the announcer in Ron Boltz, not to be confused with Larry Van Nuys who both sound alike.
