@WhatTheHalo22 The pocket hole method eliminates the need for the wood to overlap. However, there's no reason you couldn't use a battery powered drill instead of an electric one to make the pocket holes.

@MrFireworksguy screws give stability and tightness. glue grip might not stay consistent over time, you could easily end up with your project falling apart, specially using vinyl glue.

me too... after watching the introduction, it took me a few tries to find this part 1. There are 286 videos... you can search within the Lowes account...There is no playlist... and no help from the Lowes website either. Duh.
