what a racist. what does the race or color matter. i frequently see actors play roles that were originally meant to be for another race or color. given that they're not playing a real person (and that's probably even conceding too much since the guy who starred in Schindler's List wasn't German and his work was praised) I see nothing wrong with it. Ethnicity can also be defined by nationality, not just race. Not enough room to give you a course here but Wikipedia has a half-way decent overview under "Ethnic Group." If you are REALY interested in the subject Michael S. Billinger's "Another Look at Ethnicity as a Biological Concept: Moving Anthropology Beyond the Race Concept" seems appropriate (you can google it and find some additional overviews).
