My grandmother lives in the area. It's a five minute walk to the beach. I love visiting even more so now ever since I moved to Nashville. There's a a fantastic toy shop in the downtown shopping area that's near by. Has lots of old fashioned toys!
I went there with my cousin on St. Patrick's Day. It was a paradise, so beautiful! I love the white sandy beaches as well. Also saw the sun set on the Carmel Bay. My favorite beach to go to in California! I saw that the cypress tree on 0:21 is downed from the 2008 storms or so :(
No, I didn't--I was too chicken. I am sure the water is COLD...It is 10 degrees warmer here in San Jose, CA--so I may swim in the pool here--it should be over 80 degrees tomorrow! I love our weather here--Monterey and Carmel are beautiful places to visit--TOO COLD weather-wise for me!

Yes, I do, too! Now, I just enjoy it when I go on vacation--either half an hour away--Santa Cruz, CA or an hour away--SF :)
