I've used dvd fab before when I first watched this video. I redownloaded it the other day because I got a new computer. When iI downloaded, intalled and restarted, a Virus was put onto my computer. The virus was the "Security Suite Virus" and it took me a few hours to get it off. I scanned it with Eset Nod 32 and it came up clean although I still got one.

I use sly soft any DVD it's a paid service but there is a 21 day free trial and it can decrypt any DVD hence the name

what exactly will happen if i don't have dvdfab? because i've tried (just) handbrake once. it worked well. but when i tried converting another dvd, on playback, it skips frames. i don't know what to do. as long as i know, there's nothing wrong with the settings coz it's just the same with the first dvd when i converted it. :( help me. will dvdfab fix this?

If you don't want to use DVD43 in conjunction with HandBrake, a decryption program such as DVDFab Decryption or DVD Decrypter is needed in order to decrypt the DVD. Gigafide demonstrated this in the video already, so this is the method he used.

I have an ipod nano (4th generation) I'm able to watch my dvds in my ipod just as you demonstrated, but the video does not fit the screen. The movies (widescreen) are bigger than the ipod screen (letters and scenes get cut). How do I get the video to fit the screen? I set the width x height to 320x240 but that doesn't seem to do it. Can you or anyone here show me how to fit the movies to screen?

@kzagass809, if your movie is widescreen, it would be a good idea to output the video with the width and height as 640x360 and have a 16:9 aspect ratio. HandBrake does have the ability to let you make a custom preset, so try making one so that you can rip the movie to widescreen format.

@Crintingnut, you can select which track you want from a DVD by using HandBrake. By default, HandBrake picks the largest title (which is usually the main movie), so click on the dropdown list in order to find the tracks from the DVD you are going to rip.

instead of using handbrake, you can convert it to your ipod using dvd fab. instead of doing dvd to dvd, go to the mobile tab and click on ipod. it should work

You can also use FormatFactory... its a free converter program, and it does the whole procedure in one.. it also converts music files and pictures. And is able to rip the dvd into whatever format you would like..
