if anyone here plays guitar, and knows the basic pentatonic scale, you'll see that syu (shue) bases his lead work around pentatonic, he gets such a mystical and fantsmic sound out of it

not really that much. Look at kiss per example that's pentatonic! Syu uses full diatonic scales a lot, also pentatonic substitution which means that he still uses diatonic scales, but phrasing them as pentatonics.

woohoo, from this video i managed to figure out the part syu is playing apart from the second faster part because i couldn't be assed yet, and put it into a guitar pro tab. its soooooo fun to play and sounds great on my les paul :P i love this song.
