  • how long do they last

  • He probably drives a Jeep

  • what a fn goof

  • I have maxxis bighorn 265/75/16 on a d40 Nissan frontier. They are almost slicks but I have gotten nearly 55,000 km (34,000 miles).

For a mud terrain they fairly quiet, great traction in the mud or sand. Soon I will be getting the calming 5" lift with 17"x9" XD addicts and 285/70/17. Can't wait!!!!!!

  • i dislike just for the scream at the end. epic fail.

  • I have about 45000 miles on mine. 06 lariat supercrew f150, 2" leveling kit and 285/65/18 trail grapplers. Next set will be 35" trail grapplers! Best tire in my opinion!

  • how laoud are they compared to bfg all terrians?

  • @barrettbud in my opinion they are ALOTTTT quieter. me bud runs those bfgs on his stroker and it is pretty loud goin down the road. i run the terra grappler and dont really hear it at all

  • I run my Nittos @ 45 lbs ( 06 Dodge 3500 w/ leveling kit) and have got almost two years out of them ( +/-25k) I had them siped ( 1/8" from edge x 1/8" deep every 5/32") for winter - I could probably run them another winter - still have 20% left on them, but will swap them out this fall for another set. I have never ever been stuck with them & find them the best off-road-work tires I have ever had. Yes they are loud, but it is a trade-off: noise for great traction in the slop.

  • [Quote from Nitto's website.]

For on-road comfort, Nittos engineers used advanced sound analysis equipment to reduce the noise levels commonly associated with off-road tires.

Also these are about 20% quieter than the Mug Grappler by Nitto.

Hope that helps, or call me @ 517-755-0000, my name is Chad.

  • Anybody know how loud these babies are on the highway?? I can't decide between these or toyos

  • bought these tires a couple of weeks ago. the best mud tire i have ever seen. also the quietest

  • @commonrail24 Yeah. They look really good. But I would still rather have my mud grapplers. I might would give these trail grapplers a try. But I'm never goin back to Terra grapplers. I hated those tires.

  • @ABCMAN94 i work at a tire shop and mud grapplers are the best mud tires around bar none but i have yet to see a set last longer than 20k miles. and i have seen terra grapplers go as far as 50k miles but i have no clue on performance

  • @commonrail24 Most people don't rotate their mud grapplers like they should or run the right amount of air. I've had mine for only 2 months. I rotate mine every 3,000 miles and I run 33-35 pounds of air in em. Mine are 35/12.50r17.

  • @ABCMAN94 i hav a regular customer with an 08 dodge diesel with mud grappers and he rotated his every oil change and ran the correct psi and managed 20k out of em

  • @commonrail24 I know some people that have gotten nearly 30k out of there's. But they were almost completely bald by the time they got that many miles out of en
