Good review, I think I'm going to pick this up. Not right away as I am enjoying Homefront and I heard the online is iffy for Allstars (hopefully they will patch it) but this will be a blast to play with friends. I grew up watching the classic stars and stopped watching after the steroid scandal of the mid 90s. It is the legends that are bringing me back to this game and the demo was a lot of fun too.
this game is terrible your better off getting the normal wwe games
i hate wrestling more into boxing and mma but theres nothing like playing a hardcore match now an then 2 kick the shit outa somone tna impact is a decent game aswell tbh ..
@LeeUnited4eva The game is great, I personally love it. Don't buy the game if you're expecting an authentic wrestling game like SVR. Its like buying nba jam or nba streets (which were great games) and getting upset because its not authentic. It was made to be different.

I'm not debating which time period is better, I'm simply saying that you don't like it anymore although you're kind've confusing being that you said that you don't watch wrestling and then you said that you watch TNA. Its pretty obvious that this game is like nba jam or wrestlemania the arcade game. If you like SVR and not this, then you're only into simulation games but you can't say a game is terrible just because you prefer certain kinds of games.

You mentioned that every now and then you'd play tna impact because you enjoyed the hardcore style. Thats like me playing a hockey game for the same reasons even though I'm not a fan of it. I'm making a bigger deal out of it then needed though. I'm just saying that it was a bit confusing. In terms of preference (WWE allstars), its a matter of opinion I guess.

the wrestling fans who will always watch it through out there life
the older days of wrestling were better thats why before i started to stop watching
i went to TNA because it had an older feel of wrestling to it where as wwe is just terrible now

before i started to stop watching wrestling because it had a feel of the older type of wrestling you used to
See and it has a lot of older wrestlers like mick foley sting ect ect
and i'm not into pure simulation at all i enjoy games like nba jam ect ..
but i just think they imo have put little effort into this game to make it stand out
an more fun then the other wrestling games they do ..
