i remember meeting him when i was like 6 years old(10 yrs ago) he was the nicest guy ever. i was so scared of him cuz he was built and i was tiny. RIP Eddie "The Assassin" Johnson
The Assasin... he was our kind of player in Cleveland. Wasn't supposed to be big enough, fast enough, strong enough... but he had a huge heart, toughness and honor. We'll always remember you Eddie... RIP.
Eddie the Assasin! Not alot of size, not alot of hype...just a ton of heart. The guy played his butt off for the Browns and was one of my favorite players during that very special time in the mid to late 80's. No, we didn't get to a Super Bowl. But the guys on the team like Eddie made it such a passionate era. He was a class act, and I got to meet him once at a Browns reunion. You could just tell right away the genuine person he was and the fire that was inside of him. Good guy.
players like eddie johnson are why true browns fans are browns fans . RIP
