  • That's pretty bullshit, frankly if your doing your job, and your doing it GOOD. It shouldn't matter what she does on her personal time. God damn.

  • Hi Kevin! I don't think that's right at all, either! My job says if there is a conflict of interest you can get in trouble. Not sure why her job did what they did. She shouldn't have lost her job.

  • Kevin i like that you stay real. To answer your question. non profit sector it just means she works for an agency which is not federally funded.

  • Kevin i like that you stay real

  • I would like my face on my videos but I compete for high level contracts.

  • oh hai im a troll lolololol

oh no my real name is on my page :O what have i done!!!

  • i don't know what she said to lose her job however i feel that any company that fires someone based on something they said or did while they are away from work deserves to be shut down. Freedom of speech is a constitutional right. By firing her they violated that right. I can understand if she had said something at work , but she didn't; it was at home. No company has the right the to tell you what to say in your own home; the government can't even do that.

  • @AceOfHeart2012 No, she actually was not anonymous. She came out, so everyone found out that her blogger persona was associated with the nonprofit. And that's the problem. The nonprofit has a right to decide whether it wants a popular blogger to be part of its identity or not. You have to use common sense in this Internet age. There's no such thing as guaranteed anonymity. People need to learn that lesson. I do feel for this woman and hope she is doing okay now.

  • right on Kevin. I wouldn't have said it any different. Rehire the woman. Unless an employer is willing to pay people around the clock once they're off the clock, the employer doesn't exist. Corporations have way too much power. It's the people who create stuff, not the corporations. Time to take it back. TAKE IT ALL BACK! The banks have been robbing us blind for 10,000 years. The end is nigh. The usurper's end that is...

  • lol, mate you are totally contradicting yourself, you say that someone shouldnt get fired over what they say on the internet, then your saying that people should leave comments on the internet to get her hired back. You cant have one and not the other. If a person shouldnt get fired over what they say on the internet, then a person shouldnt get hired over what is said on the internet

  • you clearly do not know the law concerning at will employment - meaning an employee can quit without cause and an employer can terminate a person for no cause it is the law and totally within the rights of either without your opinion or view needed

  • Hire her back

  • The corporate has no Right to fire her ,they should give her her job back. It can be a lawsuit

  • agreed hire her back!

  • HIRE HZER BACK!!!!!

  • she could of said somtink bad about the job and ppl tht work there or somtink but yeah... hire her back!

  • HIRE HER BACK!

Very Very wrong to do that to a mother of two! Horrible CEO's in that company to allow that to happen. What company? So I can boycott. It's those dumb people that make our economy bad in the first place, firing people for no reason and making unemployment bigger!

  • man hire her back

  • she should be able to sue for wrongful dismisal

  • "The voluntary sector also non-profit sector is the sphere of social activity undertaken by organizations that are for non-profit and non-governmental This sector is also called the third sector in reference to the public sector and the private sector Civic sector is another term for the sector emphasizing the sectors relationship to civil society"

Atleast thats what wikipedia says, but bottom line the company dont take money for that they do

Also Hire her again fired at no truely valid reason

  • hire her back!!!!

  • Give her the job back, dick'eads!

  • Hire her back

  • Hire her back!!

  • GIVE HER THE JOB BACK!!!!!

  • The company's asses probably thought that the people who didn't like what she was saying in her blogs would have a huge toll on them, tarnishing their "image" and all this bullshit. That woman needs her job back, the reason behind her getting fired is bogus.

  • thats terrible

she needs to get her job back

  • hire her back

  • Kevin i love you and im not saying this to complain but latly you have been sorta cocky

  • As long as she does the job right, who cares what she does at home? Hire her back. Now.

  • thats fucked up, What ever happen to the freedom of speech!!!!!

  • How can you fire someone when they are "OFF" THE "CLOCK"????

  • WTF! SHE BETTER BE HIRED!

  • i would gladly youse my name gerardo valtazar. i dont think its wright to fire someone for there personal life

  • thats some bullshit

  • Give her da dam job back wtf...its her personal life...she can can do wateva she want as long as its not on job time or computerss......SHE CAN PRESS CHARGES!!!~~~ she aint do shit.

  • yeah i dont know how your personal life could affect your ability to do your job.

  • Thats Crazy thats fucked up Bigs UP to KEvin Craft for vloging about real shit

the recession is hard enough i cant believe they fired her on her on time

  • its retarded i mean she wasnt talking about drugs or anything it seemed like they wanted to fire her just to get the business mentioned or something i woulda still kept it a secret though

  • i love you

  • das dumb

  • That's just wrong, man.

    Hire her back.

  • most people work for "at will" employers, meaning they don't have to give you a reason to let you go, they can just let you go. and if she was working in the nonprofit sector she probably worked for some charity or some public service type of job, and she represents that organization, and any and everything she does reflects upon them and their organization. if she was writing shit about them or even saying she doesn't beleive in what they are doing that makes them look bad..

  • give her da job!

  • back when i was in school we could get in trouble for talking bad about teachers in or out of school. same concept i guess..

  • In the u.s they can fire you and not give a reason behind it at all. They also can do it for anything. People don't stop to think about the things they post in the privacy of their own home can jeopardize their jobs. She more than likely had been venting about her job, Or just maybe it is possible she lost her job for something totally not related to that but was a coincident that she revealed herself and they had planned on firing her before she did so? Something to think about

  • In America you can be fired for ANYTHING, look it up everyone. Anyway, CRAFTNATION for President, gosh knows hed be better than Obama =D

  • i was at this place and they were selling a shirt with the russian soviet union logo and "obama' under it. my parents wouldn't let me get it tho...

  • I didn't read the story yet but my first thought would be she was talking shit about her job/boss on her blog?

  • At least give a reason why they fired her. Not some bs where we fired u because you made blog. That my friend is not right. Hire her back.

  • im tired of paying bills im tired of getting fired im tired of this shit!

  • Hire Her BAck!!

  • hire her back

  • hire her back

  • hire her back

  • rehire her!

    Why?

cuz she was fired for some stupid ass reason thats why!

  • I can't understand how people can symphatize with the organization. I mean, as long as you do your job who the fuck cares what you do at home? Could you be allowed to be fired because you drink a certain brand of whisky at home? Or because you watch certain movies? In Europe this kind of shit is not allowed, they have organizations that protect the worker from this kind of facism from the boss. I know it is your property, your own buisness but that doesn't mean you're allowed to play Saddam.

  • Or even better, should you be allowed to be fired because you spoke in disrespect of the company in your own home? I know you shouldn't disrespect your own job but come on, you can't take someones job over that, not if he still works properly. I mean how backwards would things be? You loose your civil liberties 8 hours a day? I don't know how people can deal with that.

  • Hire her back

  • the boss wanted to get in her panties and then when she said noooooo that when she got fired i bet it went down just like that

  • yea right hire her back

  • Hire Her Back.

  • they probably read one of her blogs and didnt agree with her or felt threatened by it or something yet i dont think that is any reason to fire anyone and i agree with JewsWreckNations. this should go to court ...

  • that is rediculous! hire her back.

  • She needs to get her job back.

  • she was wronged; they never should have fired her for doing something in her own home on her own time. if it was me i would take them to court.

  • Hire Her Back

  • Was it possible that her blog name/ her blogging content was unprofessional that she was fired for? If not then I agree Hire her back asap

  • im using my reall name and im living in new jersey so i aint hiding.. and i leaave a comment...good or bad bassed on opinion for every vid i see.

  • wtf thats not cool at al thats fucked up

  • HIRE HER BACK!!!

  • and then fire her again. boohoo what a bitch. she probably was shit and they were waiting for a reason to finally fire her

  • hire her back.

  • hire her back

  • HIRE HER BACK

  • i think she got fired because her personal thoughts and ideas were not supported by her job. and... i guess the reputation of her work place is more important than her as an individual. yes, its exstremely petty...

    HIRE HER BACK.

  • I 100% AGREE

The economy these day's is rediculoud

    HIRE HER BACK

    HIRE HER BACK

WHAT IF THAT WAS HER BOSS THAT WAS FIRED. HE WOULDN'T WANT THAT!

i think that some people forget the saying

    Give respect to get respect.

  • If she wrote against the non-profit or against a cause relating to their viewpoint then they would naturally fire her. At will employment and the special status many non-profits have make her dismissal difficult to fight.

In a capitalist society only the wealthy are free. The rest of us are puppets. That is why Europeans went socialist - workers got sick of this shit. But we eat it up. She is free to hire an attorney, right? She can vote, right? She still has free speech. She can buy a gun.

  • A nonprofit organization has the right to maintain its reputation in the public eye. An employee who becomes famous for her blogging can conflict with that reputation, and create an image of the nonprofit that doesn't match with its goals.

And there's no "constitutional" right here. The Constitution only applies to actions of the government. A nonprofit is not the government. There's no such thing as "free speech" when it comes to private employers.

  • @cbreitel But she was anonymous. Hence the screen name. There was no problem until she revealed her alter-ego. So yes, she brought it all on herself by creating a problem where none previously existed (government does that a lot) but just admonish her. She didn't need to be sacked with 2 babies to feed. These are the women you read about a month from now who kill their children and themselves because they run out of hope. We need some GOD DAMNED compassion in this world and I mean RIGHT NOW.

  • @AceOfHeart2012 Btw, I just read up on her, and she is doing just fine. She accepted the decision of the nonprofit to let her go, and has moved on to what looks like a successful career of blogging and publishing columnns in a local magazine.

  • @cbreitel That's great to hear. Thank you.

  • I never hide behind my computer. That is real talk.

  • HIRE HER BACK

  • i'm glad she was fired. more people should get fired for writing stupid stuff on the internet regardless of where it is done, at home at work or wherever. too many people think that posting on the net is anonymous but it isn't. the best rule to go by is to not say anything online that you wouldn't say in person, period.

  • Now that's how America should be !! Sticcking up for each other. Theirs a man who doesn't even know this person and speaks out !! The people who fired this lady must be from the administration we have in washington, that's how they act when they get apposing views. she needs to take the fight to the table. Good man for caring. PEACE

  • HIRE HER BACK !!!

  • oops. i mean 1st.

  • that is the 5th ammendment, or not? freedom of speech. how are they gonna fire her from her job for making use of her constitutional rights?? something is wrong there.

  • HIRE HER BACK!

  • GIVE HER JOB BACK! RITE NOW!!!!!

  • Give her job back!!!

  • Although I don't condone what the company did, it's normal because the company doesn't want to get a bad image. It takes unnecessary money and resources to cover up any negative press from this women (if she did anything negative on her blogs). They took the easier and more practical decision to fire her.

  • Regardless of what the woman was saying in her blog she has a constitutional right to say whatever she wants. Firing her was a violation of her first amendment right to freedom of speech. If I were her, I wouldn't ask for my job back; I would sue the company for violating the constitution.

  • Yes she does, but firing her wasn't a violation. She wasn't forced to be quiet nor threatened. The company fired her probably because she was blogging about some ideals that they did not agree with, so they took the easy way out: they fired her.

  • so since you are a comedian, how can we see you at work?

  • Look on the front of my page you will see some of my stand up......

  • love the leather sofa kev, its kick ass, stay up man, u rock

  • If I were her, I wouldn't take the job back even if that shady ass boss hired her back, I'd go find another job with a boss that respects you, for you.

  • Hire her back!!!!! That is so messed up.

  • They probably fired her because they thought she was blogging at work....

    GIVE HER JOB BACK

  • THATS FUCKED UP GIVE HER HER JOB BACK
