comment to Universe112, it is nothing like Billiards, Billiards only has 3 balls, a white (your ball or the opposing players ball), another white with a few black spots on it (see above), & a red (i do not know all of the rules though). Billiards can be played on a standard Snooker table or it can be played on a large table with no pockets at all (i have only seen these types of tables rarely though).

The basic principle is quite simple: you score points by canonning your cue ball from one object ball onto the other. You can use the cushions in the shot (eg first obj ball-cushion-second obj ball.) In English billiards you can make combinations of canons and pots. In caroms you can't. 'Cause there are no pockets. :} In caroms there are different types of games all based on this principle.

Its more like a Pool type of billiards. This was an amazing shot btw. But you have to know the rules of the game to understand why. No offence.

It's an amazing shot, and I definitely don't doubt his abilities. But I really think it was more of a fluke shot and he originally wanted to come off the short cushion onto the green ball without using the pocket. Nevertheless, just amazing.
