today me & my buddy tried his brand new crossbow for the 1st time (never fired a crossbow b4), from 15m we tried to hit a platsic bottle, i missed my 1st shot cos the aimpoint wasn't zeroed properly so i reloaded, removed the aimpoint, zeroed its rearsight & my 2nd shot got right through the bottle & it flew away 0_0 lol i couldn't believe my eyes.

how is a spear gun for target shoothing?

spear guns dont really work well outside of the water ...

crossbow is so much easier that a recurve bow

thats not even a close comparison, but a compound bow works just as well as a crossbow does

a compound bow works better over a longer distance because of the arrows being longer than the bolts

Cabela's is a great place to get crossbows and pistol crossbows. if u are a beginner i'd suggest getting a pistol crossbow.

Why? Pistol crossbows are toys, not better for hunting or target shooting. My first crossbow was the Excalibur Equinox, it's a cannon but I'm glad I didn't waste time & money with a dinky one first.
