  • It is a great story and I was surprised growing up in DeWitt that I hadn't heard about it. The book itself isn't written very well. It comes across as a buch of notes and not tied together well. There are also moments where information is given and you wonder what the point was. Also if I never hear the word, "Gingerly" again it will be too soon.

  • The first two children named were my grandfather's sister and brother. He never got to know them. He was just five months old on that day.
