  • OMG foot down and not countersteering, never take your foot off the controls, you lose balance and the mental attitude to win the battle, very lucky it was a soft landing

  • wow car just kept goin

  • hey what camera? and what camera mount?

  • @andirew1189 GoPro camera (regular version, before the HD ones came out). Mount was the suction cup mount.

  • Amature mistake. Don't ride beyond your limits.....Most importantly know your road ...especially if your gonna pull stunts like passing 2 vehicles on double solid lines..At least he did not get hurt.

  • What a dumb bitch. Could have leaned over ALOT more. If u can't drag it your a faggot.

  • no cause he kept looking at that fucking cam!

  • omfg those bumpy ass double yellow line things are a fucking bitch. im guessing that's why he crashed.

  • nah think he just came in a little hot from having just passed over the line, then braked a little hard so the bike stood up and went off the rd!

  • yeah but i think the bumpy double yellow line thing might have had something to do with it.

  • @sdrob01

nah , he crashed for passing on a turn, it might not have been a tight turn but none the less. worse place to pass since he decided to cut back in versus riding the turn on the opposite side.

  • @eviljoint420 He target fixated and went straight. The bumpy yellow line unsettled the bike, he got scared, stayed on the brakes. Simply not touching the brakes and leaning the bike would have saved it. Moral of the story, don't ride above your pace, if you insist on passing over double yellows then do so safely.

  • @Longway2fall

    yeppp... agree 100%

  • Wierd...was your bike bouncing up and down because you were squeezing the brake too hard or soft suspension set up?

  • camera was mounted on my friends bike.. i was up in front of the camera bike. !

  • Sorry, I was asking about the guy that crashed. When he crosses the yellow bike bike seems to bounce a lot.

  • probably from hobbling up the embankment and towards the hillside :-D

  • LOL...could just be the shadows, but when he crosses back in front of the car across the yellow the bike seems to dice a bit. Glad he's o.k. Kinda messed up that none of the cars stopped.

  • mistakes happen, learn from them. glad you didn't get hurt

  • That was silly

  • rooks............

  • your a cumm guzzlin TWAT this fool is a G. saty up man.

  • respect your daddy u punk ass rookie.....stick to your moped u faggot

  • man, I thought he did a good job passing 2 cages while cornering. It'd have been still good if he didn't panic and did pick his bike up. I'd have kept leaning over to finish that corner nicely.

  • Looks like he got under-steer and a classic target fixation. That crash shouldn't have happened, then again passing on a double yellow in a turn isn't exactly the smartest thing either although I can't say I haven't done it before, but it's still stupid.

  • Some people should not ride motorcycles. This guy is one of them. Get a car before you wipe yourself or someone else out.

    - A ton of riding and racing experience guy.

  • Its called an accident now go onto all the cars crashing on youtube and tell them they should be on a bike soft arse

  • go tell all the pro's that ride and crash to get off the course then eh? think before u speak smart guy.

  • What Kind Of Camera is That?

How did you get it to be so steady? by adding the borders?

  • Classic example of survival reactions! Keith Code wrote a book called A Twist of the Wrist that covers survival reactions and how to correct them in great detail... I would highly recommend that book for Austin if he doesn't have it already!

  • I have those books... volume 1 and 2 =)

maybe I should lend them to him. I know what you mean about survival reactions... the classic "throwing your hands out before you fall, and break your wrists, when you woulda been fine just hitting the ground with all your gear on!".

  • Beautiful scenery and smooth tarmac, you should see some of the shoddy patch ups on our roads.... That was lucky he missed that telegraph pole, reminds me of a mistake I did before I knew how to steer and countersteer, came flying off a corner after panic-ing and target fixating on the bush, next thing i know im riding through it and somehow managed to to come back out on the road, my mate had stopped to help but before he knew I was up the road again, Lol!

Cool vid tho man, great angles too

  • thanks man... yeah san diego has some awesome backroads that are very "bike friendly"... not necessarily "police friendly"..but none the less. lol

  • Killer footage! But he had so much extra lean angle. Shame. =(

  • took the training wheels off too soon.LOL! jk.he made it out alive.its all good.go to the track and never look back.

  • the track rocks... speaking of... I have a new video for that =)

  • fun day man

    video turned out pretty good

we definitely shoulda put an explosion for the crash

  • want me to? =D

  • What doesn't kill us makes us wiser....and crashing with little or no injuries makes us fearless. Glad he's ok.

  • OK, what was the rider's description of what he felt happened. Some details would be great here. Because I don't mean to be unkind but it looks to me like a dumbazz just did something stupid. Total rider error. Was he just trying to keep up just to stay in the shot? Without more details it looks like he just blew the turn for idk what reason :-o :-(

  • think he just came in too hot and didnt lean in enough to take the turn safely. hard to say, hindsight is always 20/20... no one wants to go down, so I'm sure he didnt intend to!... just thankful no one hurt and his bike was rideable to make it home.

  • Tell him that he has to be more careful, guys get killed up there all the time, no?! He can't afford to be having those mishaps, especially where he's at fault. I'd hate to think what would've happened if the bike had 'bounced' back onto the road in front of the cars. *shakes head*

  • Sucks..Glad he is okay.. I feel bad about his bike..

  • whew and right after passing illegally! that's why the cars didn't stop! I was expecting chris to get the camera and go take some video of the bike and stuff! hehe good video. Is Austin the guy that lives near Chris?

  • you see chris, that freak when he runs up to the camera "thumbs up". he defends he was giving thumbs up that Austin was okay... but i think part of him was excited he caught it on video. lol

  • I crash in the dirt quite often . anyway glad hes okay and thanks for the ride along . I rode up to palomar yesterday had a nice ride :P

  • Those cars didn't even stop assholes glad hes okay , he probably jumped right up it didn't look to bad thank god was up on the bank like that . So who crashed anyway Austin ?

  • yea.. and i was way up in front so didnt see the thing happen.. noticed they weren't in my mirrors anymore so i stopped, and one of the cars pulled up next to me, says "hey your buddy wiped out back there". and yeah wasn't too hard a crash, just the front wheel got really messed up from hitting the rocks on the embankment. bent in good chunk of the wheel.

  • It was a great video up until the crash.

But at least your buddy is alright.

  • sux but oh well at least he live's to ride another day

  • OMG. I Still Cant Believe That Happened

  • no kidding! I see it today and it is like "wow that really happened!" ...and I wasn't going to bring the camera yesterday! lol
