Talofa from NZ - I'm trying to look for the name of the song ending this Video? I think its Hawaiian - would anyone know please. And thank you for posting this Video - its the best video of Polynesian dancing every made - Alofas from NZ
Man watching this vid back in 1989 was like the only video I remembered and treasured - thank you to your parents for doing this - I was truely inspired! Alofas from NZ
to whoever asked that question is that Ken???? YES that is Ken Peters he was my friend... this is polynesia was the BEST show pcc ever had and will ever have ..i know i was a dancer & drummer there at that time
Yes, I recognize Vili...wow he was so much thinner back then! I was at PCC in the 90's too. Hated the place after a few years but now I realize how lucky I was to work there and now I'd do almost anything to go back to that time in my life. Vili used to teach me how to make my bicepts and tricepts bigger over at the school weightroom. I miss going over to the Tonga village after the tour was done and getting some food:) Maile was great!
It's amazing, how much has changed at PCC in the last 20 years. Much more authenticity nowadays, less showiness and false representations. Mahalo for posting this.
I saw your father years and years ago at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and he was like my hero when I went to Hawaii. I never knew he was a chief though! It must have been 12 years ago that I met and saw him. One of the kindest people I'd ever met. Be proud! =D
Thats my dad leading the sasa for the Samoa section. RIP. This is the best show they've had at PCC by far. Better than Horizons. I know. I was a part of it. LoL. Das my story. THANK YOU!
Excuse me, but Ken who? I worked at PCC during the 90s for promo team. Your dad taught me fireknife and I danced at Paradise Cove. Did you recognize Vili the Warrior in the blue as the Faaluma?
wow!! this brought back soooooo many memories!! thank you! thank you! thank you!
