I have a feeling this is staged. I mean, just look at how he lies there after hit with the chair making no effort to get up. To me that's a big clue right there. If this were real, he wouldn't just stand there while a big guy is coming at him with a chair, and if he was hit, he wouldn't just lie there. I mean that light wicker backed chair probably isn't going to feel like much if it hits you because there's so much surface area and air resistance. I did note that a leg looked broken though.
