  • i would so love to see one of your art books... have a pink rainbow day beautifu lady...

  • we can see them cooking

but still we dont know where the food comes from

  • what is life without many voyages.

    beautiful, tree.

  • hey miss m*. my mom goes overseas every year and i watch her get prepared and packed for her adventures. through the years, she's learned what to take and what not to take, what's too big or heavy, etc. even though i can't travel with her, i appreciate being able to travel vicariously through other people's adventurous trips here and abroad. thanks for sharing your great vid's. take care. keep on keepin' on! ((hugs)) ciao for now.

  • Margaret,

You're an AWESOME lady...INTERESTING TO NO END!!!!

    Ronnie

  • You travel in the most intellegent way. I wish people were that smart when it came to traveling just in general. whether it'd be driving trips or flying to another country for vacation. And I agree on "following your nose" its the sence of adventure and having something planned can be so un-entertaining and boring and you learn nothing from following where a book says to go unless you discover on your own

  • i know a family that just spent 3 weeks in Italy and only ate pizza

  • you just may have inspired me to travel somewhere exotic on my own. I've never done it alone but have always contemplated doing it. I love your no-nonsense, practical approach to travel and great insights -- as usual -- thanks!

  • you will have much adventure

  • I would absolutely love to see a video about your art books!

  • I,too, am an explorer! This reminded me of the time I wound up drinking Vodka and dancing with the Russians in Paris. I have had many grand times following my nose! I have been allowing fear to creep in a bit more now that I am older which is NONSENSE! Thank you for reminding me! I must admit I have never quite learned the art of traveling "light". I have always been a heavy "packer". It IS a hastle but oh how I love my options. Next time, I am trying it your way!

  • Love it, you can be wild and no can tell on you. don't hide the wild side for it shows in your Craft. =)

the lone wolfs tell no tails but the tails are told about them. LoL

    Great Vlog

    Peace Out

  • the disasters of today are the stories of tomorrow

  • Margaret, I too spend most of my time alone INTENTIONALLY. What surprises me is how many people are so horrified that I chose to do things and go places by myself. Many say they wouldn't think of even going to a movie or a restaurant alone. I do it all the time and love it. I am my own best friend! :-)

  • we know where it's at

  • Thank You!! for that little junket.

I loved the scenery, music, etc.

    and thoroughly enjoyed how You

    took us along.

    Well done!

  • I like to travel by car myself - it takes so long to do, but it is fun to see the land. As for places to stay, I don't think I have found many I liked - oh well...

Great art - loved to see it.

  • i love long distance driving trips. pretty expensive now

  • i love your thoughts on travel....i need to push myself to go off on my own and explore instead of being afraid

  • You need to show off more of your artwork. That's some amazing stuff!

  • Did you draw that image with the bags and the ring of fire?

    Wise advise.

  • Amen! Following your curiosity and taking a risk is what travel is, I think. The more people in your group, the more you dilute the experience.

  • Awesome!!! I love the way you travel. I admire your independance.. Have a great time..

  • Oh I so agree about traveling alone. Much as I love my husband, my best/craziest adventures have always occurred when I have gone off for the day on my own.

  • Napping is one of the most gratifying and healthiest inactivities we can enjoy.

  • I'm always working on learning how to pack light. I think next time I travel, I will leave my computer at home! :-) Wonderful tips.

  • And what else will you leave at home. You said you always travel with a lot of stuff. LOL

  • I take a lot of art supplies, few clothes, and ALWAYS a mosquito net

  • I'll let you know after this next trip I'm taking. :-)

  • gah, now i want to go exploring!! maybe i will!

    you are an emerald ♥

  • Not only it's been an interesting journey, but also the paintings are just unique!

    5*

  • I REALLY like You!

    ~And your Art :)

  • I agree. I have discovered that I am usually grumpy when I arrive somewhere (often very early in the a.m. or very late in the p.m.) due to low blood sugar, so now I carry something that I know I can eat upon arrrival while I figure out where I want to eat.

  • good thinking

  • I think if we had siesta in this country people would live longer :)

  • definitely

  • Great tips!

  • I love that yellow chair behind you. The paintings were quite interesting too!

You are much more adventurous than my parents when it comes to travel, although my mom did go to Antarctica via Russian freighter once. They usually just signed up with tour groups though.

  • Light is right. We really don't need all that much when you are just traveling to enjoy being somewhere else. People have enough at home. They don't need to take it with them.

Naps are good. I make sure they are part of my life daily.

    Thanks!
