You sure wouldnt want to actually hook it all up and turn it on so we could HEAR it...I mean, who would want to listen to it....probably the music you chose wouldnt be what we like to listen to anyways.
50 feet of cable gives you the flexibility to put your A/V receiver almost anywhere in the room. Many people put the receiver off in a corner, in a closet/cabinet, etc, especially when the TV is being wall mounted.
If you don't need that much cable you can cut it to the length you need, and strip the ends, maybe attach some connectors, and save the excess wire in case you move and need it later.
We're bummed it didn't grab you. This particular video was something we threw together in about 5 minutes. The TV and SurroundBar were already in the photo studio, we grabbed a handheld camera, you mention the cables, you tell that story of your mom, you open you close the video, and we shot it in 2 takes.
Every bit of it was real and 100% true, but maybe we were just trying too hard.
