Holy shit, I wish I played this game. Super Smash Bros. is good and all, but I always loved Battle Arena Toshinden and I liked Tekken 2 quite a bit too. Soul Calibur III is sort of good, but this opening makes the game seem like it would be much better. I wish I played Ehrgeiz... Dissidia seems like it would be good. I should get that some time.

man... memories!, I remember I went back to school and my father was painting our door, and in the living room was the playstation with Soul Edge's (my father had rented it that day) intro playing over and over again, I remember my father telling me: "play if you want, but let the video play one more time", maybe no the best intro, but to me, it is!, how I wish I got Soul Edge right now!, thank you very much for the intro!

I have this game to this day yes so many years have pased and i corectly remember that day in 1997 when i first time play with my friend in soul blade ( i dont have psx then ):D now after playing on soul calibur on dreamcast and having ps2 and soul calibur 2 and 3 and buy soul blade 1 on psx 1 from my friend i must say SOUL BLADE WAS ONE OF THE BEST GAME ON PSX AND ITS ROX i love that game music all soundtracks

One of the best intros ever. On the day I bought this game when I was 15, I was robbed and over over 100 dollars were taken from me. I was damn shocked and ten I came home and did put this game into my PSX and the intro left me with my mouth wide open. I felt much better just from this, also from playing. I played this constantly for years, still my fav from the series. The music is much better than in the other parts and also the interactive endings.

Anyhow, Kingdom Heart is a RPG, which is really a management style games when comes down to it! True Fighting genre tend to interest people with hairpin reflex anyhow going back to their old arcade root!!
