  • Doh I don't know. Drawing, arranging map data with fine precision that a finger cannot do? Whiteboard collaboration tools already present on the WM platform. Ppl can still tap quicker with a full hand led by stylii than with finger on inaccurate screen based keyboard. Touchscreens on smartphones is NOTHING new! Remember the PEN is mightier than the finger!

  • alot of my clients switched from blackberry to the iphone, after a few weeks most of them ended up returning their iphones because it lacks many features needed in a workplace (not to mention the 6 hour battery on the 2nd gen.). they came back to me and i suggested the nokia e series devices. the current release of the E/N series is years ahead of the iphone in technology. the only thing the iphone has is esthetics and a touch interface. im excited to see the devices with s60 release 5 touch ui.

  • Agreed. iPhone is for data consumption/moving data; not for sharing data or creation of data or updating data (data is data). Wait until the N97 drops and many will forget about iPhone. Also remember S60 5th Edition is for Flexible & Multilingual Touch focus! RenaudAudernaerde, stylus is for those that need to draw data for sharing. Pen IS mightier than the finger!

  • Lots of inferior companies like Nokia are trying to make phone like iPhone but are totally failing.

    If you do not believe try latest Samsung Omnia side by side with iPhone you yourself will decide. The dirty pig Nokia is struggling to launch touch screen phone from last one year with pig slow OS symbian.

    Keep my word, Nokia's future shit touch screen phone will not be even close to the greatest iPhone.

    I personally shame that my country men speak so bad english. I'm sorry about that.

    About that S60 Touch Platform. It's current design mistakes are Stylus and complicated messy UI. UI just wastes space on screen. It would be better to abandon S60 and start using Nokias own Linux implementation Maemo on that thing.

    I hope that they will do something and soon. And I hope that Nokia will not mimic iPhone since that's the worst they can do.
