If they ever remake this game or make a number 3 should add the same aiming you can use in re4 and re5 but with guns and have the person choose between 3rd person or 1st person. I think it would be sweet no fresh idea for the game . just a thought.

I guess you could say this game is a forerunner to Left 4 Dead, only if Capcom had further supported this game series it'd probably be an online craze right now.
*sniff* I miss this game. One of the first online console games, taking full advantage of the PS2's limited online capability. Imagine what they could do now with Xbox Live and Playstation Online. Capcom really needs to port (as the very least) this to next-gen consoles.
@MichaelSkater456 Because they are always trained to go for quick efficient kills against living targets which constitutes a body shot, or to disarm a target by hitting the arm or leg. Very rarely is the military trained to go for a head shot, since it is a smaller target to hit. Of course, RE zombies canonically can only be killed by destroying the head. Zombies go against military and police training. Also it's a work of fiction the main characters are the ones who are supposed to win! ;)
They should make a resident evil game on the new consoles that has the same game play as 4 and 5 except there is an ammo shortage like the originals

It gets even better: the first fight in the game with zombies practically FORCES you to knife your way out, as you're literally flanked in a narrow row between gravestones in a graveyard! Don't even get me started on the ammo shortage, the Cerberi, and the Bandersnatch....
@Videogamer3692 im gonna be honest, although in file 2 the guns and ammo were a lot more "fair", i loved being in those tight "live or die" situations in veronica X, it really added to the horror when you relised a horde of zombeies were heading your way and you only had one magazine of ammo and your knife......
now if they make file 3 the opening in file 1 should be in game and this opening would be like a teaser for where the settings is going to be and how good they will look

No, they are a part of the Raccoon City Incident, which was shown in RE2 & RE3, just this is a different look on it, from a different part of the city, with a total of 10 scenarios with similar and new locatons, they are worth looking into.:)
I used to think the exact same thing, especially with how absolutely amazing the first one was, but I have come to appreciate it more after completing the game, it really isn't that bad, it goes around and takes a look at the locations, especially seeing RPD.:)
perhaps its because im a game programmer myself im looking at it as if a director would look at a movie. Technically speaking it's nothing more than a few particle effects on 3D fonts and selected camera angles/zoom on predesigned locations within the game.
I have to say that what you said about making it at the last minute is probably pretty reasonable, because this game wasn't even going to be released until the success of the first one promted it, but regardless of all of that, I think a positive way to look at it is, you get to hear the amazing opening score without the gunfire and other racket, but otherwise...:)
Yeah maybe, but I really can't think of anything they could have done, of course the scene with Birkin & the special forces team was taken, but they really didn't have anything else, maybe like what was used for the RE3 opening, with the RPD trying to hold off the zombies, that might have been nice.:)

Not azactly a group of writers write the story of RE searies twisting the time lines together makeing only 1 part of each game the real part for example In RE3 the mad jackal man (forgot his name) that appeared in RE4 survived by driveing the helicopter he wasn't shot down
i think the reason there not doing classic zombies is becouse when u vs zombies there mindless so they must've thought it would be cool if u killed people who could acually were able to hold a knife and use it it would be cooler besides wasnt umbrella destroyed so they cant make those kind of zombies
i think the games had potential. play on hard and it really does become survival horror due to lack of ammo, everything done in real time etc the one thing that annoyed me though was the loading times between rooms. the intro music and title sequences are amazing though
The difference is new senarios, more characters, new monsters, and you get 2 choose your teamates in single-player mode, and the characters you pick will react to ur character from a specific relationship system, if ur partners hate ur character, they'll ignore ur commands, but if their good friends of ur character, they'll obey ur commands, and anyone in between will obey and ignore 50% of the time
well ya it's the zoo and many other shots from different scenarios in the game, the begining was of End of the Road the area where you fight the tyrant after meeting linda when she was knocked over, then DT,WT,FB and etc.
this game is os difficult just because because your infected with the t-virus from the start thats what makes it a challenge...i love this game thouhg file#1 and File#2...

No, they are a part of the Raccoon City Incident, which was shown in RE2 & RE3, just this is a different look on it, from a different part of the city, with a total of 10 scenarios with similar and new locatons, they are worth looking into.:)

they wasted good music on a crap intro. Not a hell of a lot of effort went into the graphics at all. Just a bunch of 3d fonts rotating.

I used to think the exact same thing, especially with how absolutely amazing the first one was, but I have come to appreciate it more after completing the game, it really isn't that bad, it goes around and takes a look at the locations, especially seeing RPD.:)

perhaps its because im a game programmer myself im looking at it as if a director would look at a movie. Technically speaking it's nothing more than a few particle effects on 3D fonts and selected camera angles/zoom on predesigned locations within the game.
It's really last-minute-oh-shit-we're-not-gonna-meet-the-deadline stuff IMO

I have to say that what you said about making it at the last minute is probably pretty reasonable, because this game wasn't even going to be released until the success of the first one promted it, but regardless of all of that, I think a positive way to look at it is, you get to hear the amazing opening score without the gunfire and other racket, but otherwise...:)

Yeah maybe, but I really can't think of anything they could have done, of course the scene with Birkin & the special forces team was taken, but they really didn't have anything else, maybe like what was used for the RE3 opening, with the RPD trying to hold off the zombies, that might have been nice.:)

if they ever make an outbreak file 3 they should have stars mambers and stuff as unlockable characters with their own story that ties in with the survivors. and like file 2 they should have showdowns. like Showdown File 1, Showdown File 2, Showdown File Veronica, Showdown file-G, Showdown Nemasis, Showdown File-T, and Showdown File-J.

Not azactly a group of writers write the story of RE searies twisting the time lines together makeing only 1 part of each game the real part for example In RE3 the mad jackal man (forgot his name) that appeared in RE4 survived by driveing the helicopter he wasn't shot down

i think the games had potential. play on hard and it really does become survival horror due to lack of ammo, everything done in real time etc the one thing that annoyed me though was the loading times between rooms. the intro music and title sequences are amazing though

The difference is new senarios, more characters, new monsters, and you get 2 choose your teamates in single-player mode, and the characters you pick will react to ur character from a specific relationship system, if ur partners hate ur character, they'll ignore ur commands, but if their good friends of ur character, they'll obey ur commands, and anyone in between will obey and ignore 50% of the time
