@jcole0719 Neither actually. Those are for 2000 and newer TJs. This is a 99 so it has the model for older TJs. listed as "MBRP Inc. Single Side Cat-Back System"
@jcole0719 While they do not have the same title the installer and the XP look the exact same as this system. I believe the only difference between the two is probably the quality of the metal. XP may be the better option, also if you are an off road enthusiast. Look into the high clearance short back system they have. My buddies TJ runs it and sounds good.
Very nice! Question though. I've got a magnaflow cat back exhaust with the banks ram air intake, stock headers/stock cat. Will a high-flow cat and performance headers make it sound louder/perform better? It's relatively quiet at the moment.
@TheCritaKill Thanks man, it would certainly make some difference, but you have already made the biggest changes, so it would get just a bit louder and a little more performance, but not too much more than what you have currently. High flow cat is cheap and easy. Headers are pretty expensive and labor intensive.
Best 4.0 exhaust I've heard yet, very nice. I looked it up and it basically just looks like a straight-through resonator, are there any baffles inside it? Thanks
dude the lights where u live r so weird. nice exhaust btw im thinking about getting it. r there any others i should keep in mind that r like under 500
@letitride555 This was in San Antonio, Texas. And thanks man, I had a flowmaster 40 on my last jeep and i really liked it. It was just welded on though, not a cat back system. I am a off road enthusiast though and just after i bought this MPRP system they cam out with a short back high clearance system for an even cheaper price, I wish I had gotten that one. Banks systems are also very popular
What headers are you using? looking for the brand because i absolutly love your system! was thinking about going with a Flowmaster 40 series and a magnaflow highflow cat, but i stumbled upon your video and have stopped watching it! so what brand headers? and your using a magnaflow down pipe, plus the magnaflow highflow cat then its MBRB all the way out? what size piping did you use? 2.5"? and info you can give me is appreciated, i have a yj so i gotta learn to make it work :P great system!
@TheGhostt45 They are the off brand of a Banks Torque tube header. Like a Rugged ridge header, with the same construction. But they just cracked after a really deep water crossing. And yes it is a magnaflow downpipe with high flow cat. And then the MBRP cat back. The piping should be the same size as stock which i think is 2 or 2 1/4 inches. And thanks a lot for the compliment. I sure do enjoy it.
@kx519 Yeah man, i was just out there if you want to check out the new videos. I was on level 3 trails all day and tackled most of level 4 wet and wild with a few guys. Watched a CJ5s axle give out in front of me. I had a blast. Gears, lift, and airing down the IROKs was awesome
@josephnbl91 The only place i could find super swampers was 4wheel parts. I had to call in and ask for the size in specific and see what they had. That was at least the sixth company i called.
@kx519 Not sure why your comments were removed or marked as spam, but thanks man, it's actually the same set up i had when i was out wheeling with you
is that the Installer or the xp series
