  • jlist.com have lucky bags from US$40-$60 at the moment

  • @jade2dragon Yeah, but that makes sense. Jlist sells Japanese products. Granted, it sells abroad, but still, it makes sense to me.

  • Glad to see you making new vids. As for the bags, i think it would be a good thing in the US. Good way to get rid of overstock items. However i have a bad feeling some sort of violence would ensue either with not getting what you want or swapping with others. : (

  • @dre3k78 Good to be back. Now that I have a reliable camera let's hope it sticks this time...

Perhaps we are putting the wrong kind of emphasis on people? People often do wrong because they assume they will fall behind because others will also do wrong. But if we all refrain from it then nobody falls behind and everybody wins. To that end, if we personally don't do anything wrong and set good examples (trading, etc.) it should encourage the same from others, right?

  • I saw your marathon videos from last year and they have been a HUGE help! Are you doing it again?

  • @theweisisright Wish I was...but I wasn't selected in the lottery this year. Glad the videos have been helpful.

    Thanks for watching! :o)

  • If I say I love you would you believe me...?

  • @shani21shani Depends on what you meant by it. :o)

  • I love the idea of a lucky bag i think if someone in america did it right i could be a big success. And i for one love the surpise of opening something and geting a random item out of it its like opening a birthday or christmas gift. :)

  • @slackerhp I'm all about it, so you don't need to convince me. :o)

But we need to get more people and stores on the bandwagon!

  • At the dollar tree they have grab bags for young boys and girls for a dollar. They have really crappy things but for kids i can see how its fun . When i was little my mom would let me get one. Thats the only thing i can think off that would be like lucky bags. And nice camera! Looks good :)

  • @xLacey Hmmm, well that's a start. Let's expand this market....

  • 美人だね、彼氏がいるか?

  • @Vortekz ありがとうございます。彼氏がありますか?秘密ですよ。でもね、あったら、背が高くて力持ちですよ。

  • like this video. like you :D your cool. very good

  • I got fukubukoro from billabong and village vangaurd. The billabong one was really awesome. Everything was great. But the village vangaurd wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. Anyway, Happy new year! Glad to see u back again in 2011!

  • @ozzy78 Yeah that happens sometimes, right? There seem to be more letdowns than great bags lately. :(

By the way, nice channel! I like the intro splash.

  • Claire's in the UK does lucky bags when they have sales on. The stuff is usually a bit hit or miss but I've gotten some pretty earrings in some of them.

  • @icyqueen2006 Ooooo, really? Wonder if they do elsewhere too then... Hmm...

  • Liked it, liked you. You do this very well.

  • @Rokkiteer Haha, thanks!

  • Old bags have value greater than the cost of it? good idea! Happy 2011 ++

  • @WTK0566 Hmm? The bags have stuff inside worth more than the cost.

Happy New Year to you too~!

  • Puckさん、お久しぶりです。元気そうで何よりです。今年もよろしく~っ(^O^)/

  • @ponnpokoponnno1 そうですね、久しぶりです~!明けましておめでとうございます!

  • good job

  • @007johnnywest Thanks! Oh no! What happened to your account...?

  • If you started it in the US you would have too many customer complaints, because they didn't get what they wanted.

  • @kantishna39 Woot.com already does something with a similar concept, and knowing that the bag usually has broken and generally worthless stuff (the bag is aptly named a "bag of crap") people still line up for it and around 2,500 of them sell in under a minute on the site when they come up.

So long as it's made clear that the bag is a "buy at your own risk" item then the poor store clerks can deflect whiny customers. And if the trend catches on then people will get used to it over time.

  • We definitely need lucky bags in the US! Seems like an awesome way to find new things you hadn't thought of buying, and a good way for stores to move slower selling items.

  • @stalker003 Yeah I think so too. :o)
