  • But there is still a little bit of bounce. Not detectable to the ear but to my eyes. Some one who doesn't play violin probably wouldn't notice it though.

  • It's literally impossible for me to hold the bow that way. My fingers are too fat they don't fit. Also if I try to hold the bow at the first crease of my fingers there is too much bow bouncing. It still bounces a little but basically I do much better if my fingers are slanted. I hold the bow perpendicular to the floor to get that slant. Also I do not drag the bow I smoothly glide it and I hold it with out letting the weight of the bow drag on the strings. Like I said smooth gliding

  • im learning violin i had 3 classes in 3 weeks and i find it dificult to hold the bow and play an open string with out hesitating and keeping my shoulder relaxed
