thank you..but im in a 3 piece and it was such a mistake getting rid of my strat and gettin an artcore ...hmm any advice on what kind hum buckers i should get?
To be honest, if you're using a hollowbody with high gain, unless you get some really low output pickups (and if you like a high gain sound, probably not a great idea) then you're always going to get feedback. Only thing you can do is buy some kind of noise gate, and I'd imagine Tim probably uses one live (though I dont know) you can get some fairly cheap feedback surpressors, either rackmount or stompbox, have a look around.
@punkhippe man i agree completely, very few songs make me sad, the first time i listened to this song i actually cried, idk what it is, maybe it reminds me of the connection i have with my brothers, but i thought it was amazing that a punk song made me cry. what a great song.
lol, tim never plays, thats kind of his gimmick. Tim really only plays on their records. Lars does the guitar playing live. With exceptions for songs like radio and such. But yah, tim uses the guitar as a prop, i guess u could say.
His brother died 2-23-01 and the song appeared on the Indestructible album released under Hellcat Records in 2003..it was also the first of their albums to have a parental advisory label and the last album to have the classic lineup present
this song is so full of pain....

I'm a big, long-time Rancid fan, but Indestructable really was a terrible album. Their last great album was Life Won't Wait.

Actually about Lars' older brother who died either 2000 or 2001, not really sure, but the album was 2001. It's a great song.
