Judy was the best ever. Met Mickey in FLA a couple years ago and he really has absolutely no social skills whatsoever. Put a camera on him and gee whiz he's nice. Hollywood created him and he's just as fake as a painted backdrop.

I love this clip. It's just so beautiful, seeing two people who have been through so much and quite frankly show the difficulties of their lives in their faces. They just so obviously love being together again, and it brings back their affection and memories to such an extent that the viewers can practically see their youth returning to them. They each hold so much love for the other, and it's such a very moving thing to watch.

Judy and Mick did "date" but it was just a studio thing. I'm sure they loved each other as friends. Judy was married five times, and Mick even more. She was the most talented woman ever in show business. I still get shivers when I hear her concert records.

watching this almost brought me to tears. If judy had only married Mickey She would've lived for a much longer time. The two of them were perfect for each other. It makes me so sad to see that Judy went through so much pain but once she was with Mickey,you could see in her eyes, all the pain would go away and she could just laugh it off. They are my favorite almost romances ever.

I never "got" Mickey Rooney's appeal. In fact, no matter who she is paired with on screen, you never can take your eyes off her - even when she danced with Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly - she is the one you watch. When you think about it, even in the mid to late 60's, women were 2nd hand citizens, just not given the same respect or due as men.

Judy was always the one you watched, but Mickey was very talented, just not as a singer, he was really great at doing impressions. It also didn't help that his best remembered movies are with Judy, Liz Taylor, and other legends. He was good, but not as good as them.

I disagree! Mickey was a good singer its just Judy was an awesome singer nobody could top. But as an actor Mickey was one of the Greats! Best known for all those Andy Hardy pictures and who could forget Boys Town, I could go on & on. Together though They were sensational!! They were known as the very first screen team of teenage superstars that appealed to a cross generation of fans... To me both were Great actors/entertainers but together as a team they were a magical marvel of talent!

Read Mickey's autobiography they almost got together on so many occasions. Right before she got married with David Rose she went to Mickey to ask if she should, hoping he would stop her but he didnt, and right before she moved to the UK to marry Mickey Deans he called her and offered to take her in and they were gonna open the Mickey and Judy school of the performing arts. But for some reason she left, went and married him and then died.
