I think you missed the issue. The issue is filming an officer on duty, which is completely legal. Not only is it legal, but every citizen in the U.S.A should film (if they have time) every traffic stop, every arrest, ever conversation with an officer. This insures they are serving us, as that is what they are - a public servant!

Not only is it legal, but every citizen in the U.S.A should film (if they have time) every traffic stop, every arrest, ever conversation with an officer. This insures they are serving us, as that is what they are - a public servant!

I agree... You definitely should be a distance from an officer making an arrest. That way there are no safety issues, and the officer doesn't feel like you are impeding on his/her space. Also agree, if an officer asks you to backup, and you are within 20 feet (or closer of the arrest) use common sense. As for the moron comment, lol...
