  • JAPANESE MOMS ARE AWESOME

  • Music is way too loud..it would be good if we can hear and understand properly on what she's talking about.

  • magnífico!

  • so would ham be good for the pork? and could you use soy sauce for the worcestershire sauce?

  • The sauce is called Teriyaki.

  • to all commentors,,please avoid saying bad words,,Japanese people has a good heart,,I prove it,,because my husband is very nice,,anyway,yakisoba is my number 1 favorite...gyoza,,,udon toka,soba toka,,more recipe plaese,,I love japanese food,,but I don't eat sushi.....

  • please of the music i cant listen to you stupid japanese

  • She's hot. Oh and the yakisoba looks good too. But she's hot.

  • The broken romaji Japanese always makes me laugh a little. Hmm.. I wonder if "laugh" is the right word? Maybe I should say "die a little on the inside."

I really wish people would either: 1) Study more, or 2) Don't use the language.

This goes for just about any language I guess.

  • I'd like to know all the sauces and things you add to the mixture... you don't say it and I think it's the key to the dish itself. Thanks! :P

  • Haha! The beggining of this video made me smile!! Oishi Desu! I tried this recipe! Yakisoba ga daisuki desu!

  • Dang turn off the music completely! Its nice to hear the person who is cooking talk and also to hear the sounds of the food cooking :).

  • oh dude asians have the best food ever

  • oishii sou mitai desu

  • What's up with that woman? In every video she looks like she's going to cry.

    The food looks good though.

  • You need to turn down the music, I can barely hear you speak. :)

  • Arigato Tomoko-san!

  • I have a question. what is dashi, katsuobusni powder and tenkasu?

  • @vumpirekizz wikipedia dude..

if you don't find tenkasu, you can replace by rice krispies

  • @ToYKillME thanks a lot dude ^,..,^

  • Okay, I have the same question. If you know why can't you just be generous and tell us the other stuff unless you just feel like being rude and sarcastic.

  • @vumpirekizz dashi is stock made with konbu and katsuobushi.Katsuobushi itself is dried, shaved bonito fish.Tenkasu are crunchy little flakes of batter leftover from frying tempura. You can find all this at a Japanese market.

  • thanks for the info. ^,..,^ anyway I already make a research for this.

  • i can not hear what she said

  • Curious to know, is yakisoba sauce the chicken stock, dashi, katsuobushi powder, tenkasu, and tonkatsu sauce mixed together?

  • the music is too loud...

  • yes.

    otherwise, good video :)

  • daikugan moriomoto y rabosaki

  • Thanks for all your video... Tomoko-san all your recipes look really good!! =)

  • that insturment is a shamisan its palyed and danced by the geish. soo this is the dance of the geisha

  • Ha, I think you can see the katsuobushi dancing on the noodles at the end.

  • I'm trying to learn how to cook a delicious Yakisoba & your video is helpful. Thanks!

  • lmao

  • thank you for your excellent videos! i love them all

  • wahhh yummy

  • Thats it i got to go too japan and ask how to make this the proper way mine comes out more American then not.

  • I was wondering what type of oil you recommend for this type of dish? I have 3 or 4 different kinds and I want to use whatever would be most common in Japan. I could always ask the grocer, but he's a little scary so I'd rather avoid it if possible.

This is my mother's absolute favorite Japanese dish. I would like to make it for her for mother's day I think so I need lots of practice before then!

  • Raantuva, I think they usually use sesame oil in Japan.

  • oh... I'm wondering if there is something less fatty-she's kind of obsessed with calories and sesame oil is too strong smelling also (I ended up not seeing her on mother's day sadly :/)

  • Well, that's how the japanese make their food. But, the japanese only eat 80% of their meal, so they don't eat ALL of the calories and stuff like that.

  • @RinKongGouHiwatari4E I think you're missing my point. My mother, my AMERICAN mother, is not going to be happy if I cook anything with Sesame... I need a substitute.

  • That music in the back is jamming. What's it called?

    X

  • It's the Yoshida Brothers. They are awesome. I don't know the exact title of that song cause I can't read the cover, but all of their music is amazing.

  • Thanks so much ^_^

    X

  • naum intendi porra nenhuma

  • おいしそうですね:P

  • instant noodle in a not-instant form... its good!!

  • would you use pickled red ginger for garnish?

  • Oh. That was me, Oyamake, logged in as GinJ

  • You can use spaghetti noodles, worcestershire and mayo, bean sprouts, cabbage and green onions. That's enough to have something yummy. The katsuobushi and nori are available at any asian food market.

  • def not spaghetti noodles nor bean sprouts.

  • she used bean sprouts in this video

  • OISHIII !!! XD i wanted to put my face close to the screen Xd..Darn..if only if i had a aunt or somebody who is japanese and cook me yakisoba Xd ..thnkx Oyamake * hugz *

  • Arigatou Oyamake-san! Always been seeking guidance to cook japanese food :D

  • Wow!! Thank you for your videos! Before I started watching your videos, I have been trying to teach myself how to make Japanese style food, but the taste would always come out too strong. ...but now I can cook Japanese food through your videos, thank you very much!

  • Music much too loud. Please use clear Japanese, and this would be the best. I love everything else about the video--just use clear Japanese and cook. Turn down that music!

  • I'll redo the video with softer music. All of them are going to remastered in the next year. Reshot also.

  • yum, yakisoba is so good!

  • loll She is funny! thnak you i'll try this one tomorrow!

  • Thanks oyamake. Cooking is great though.:)

  • Done in later videos. Thank you for the feedback.

  • the music was irritating. food looks good though. i like adding shiitake mushroom slices in with my yakisoba and shredded carrots too.

  • Terribly sorry the music was too loud. We have since fixed that in later videos and will be remastering all of our videos in the future. We hope you can enjoy our later videos more.

  • Nihon-jin ja arimasen... *-_- Demo.... Kore wa oishii desu!

  • That's funny.

  • @LittleMissBlackart ahhh romaji is the devil language

  • Yummy!

  • Tomoko likes to read the comments in Japanese. However, she is usually busy....cooking. :-)

  • Wow !!! I wish my mom cooks as good as you do.

  • uhm... what does that mean??

Yossha! Ore wa Yakisoba tabetai zo!

My only question is: can you find all the ingredients in America?

  • Of course you can! Check out your local oriental market. Gook Luck!

  • Can't agree more zack. BTW, If the sauce is hard to find, you can easily substitute worcestershire diluted with a bit of mayo.

  • hmm i dont eat pork - - can we make it with chicken???

  • Absolutely! Anything is OK. Traditionally it's made with pork but it's like spaghetti.

  • kk thx

  • yakisoba wa daiski yo! doomo!

  • Let us know how it turns out for you. Thank you for the comment.

  • thank you so much for a great recipe...I should try this at home, it looks so delicious, thanks again :-).
