You have amazing use of photoshop's tools. I am curious, 3 "art" layers exlcuding background... did you draw the sketch, lay the flats behind it and then made a new layer with them combined to finish it off? I hope that made sense.

anyways, just wondering how do u manage to blend the colours so well? Do u like, use the smudge tool or..... ??? i dunno. LoL. I always cant get my colours to blend well, especially shading part.

To do the blending, you just quickly hit the Alt key for the eye dropper tool. With your brush set to half opacity or so, you'll get a nice blend when you lay down the color. Keep doing it, and it will blend.

@shadowkunai12 use the [ and ] keys on your keyboard. [ makes it smaller, and ] makes it bigger. Hope that helps!

Thanks! Warp tool is under Edit>Transform>Warp (in photoshop CS2 and above)

That's the 'Warp' tool found under Edit>>Transform>>Warp. Adobe Photoshop CS2 and higher I believe.

Correct! A shortcut to the transform function is hitting Ctrl+T. When you're in that mode, right click to get the dialogue box and click "warp"

Now THAT'S speed painting. Seeing your artwork coming to life was amazing. Putting everything on one layer was like painting a real life canvas, very well done! That is a great talent you have.

Thanks! I definitely still need more practice though. Doing this technique was difficult, and ended up taking a lot longer than I had hoped. Maybe I will choose a different subject matter next time, since Anime typically calls for really solid and clean lines. ^_^
