It may seem super hard, but art can be really pretty simple once you get it. Most people who say that they "can't draw" or whatever are just over-analyzing it. It just takes practice :]
@scenefactoryxx Actually, I disagree- no offense. Art is not easy. The only reason anyone draws well is because of years of practice. No one paints or draws the way they do w/o all of the hard work- the countless hours, studying. No part of it is simple, the only reason someone seems to have an easy time drawing the face or the hand is because they invested so much time sucking at it until their hand finally "gets" how to move in order to imitate what you see. I think I know what you mean with over-analyzing. When I draw, and I mostly try to draw characters I've seen in a movie or game etc. I often take up a picture and look at the details, but as fast as it doesn't look JUST like the character, I either lose the feel for it or keep on trying and end up with an unsatisfying result. Even when the character isn't supposed to look realistic or even close to it.
