  • hi how much does a set of plans cost for this machine please. I would love to build one for my personal use. thanks

  • By the way, how much for one of these? I believe It's not that expensive compared to comercial choppers

  • In 3:39 the white chopper comes like "Enought playing boys, the boss is here"

  • That is awesome!! i want one in UK haha

  • Dear,

    Santa

  • I really want a gyro-copter!

  • The novelty would were off real quick! It's only 1 seater, no room to carry anything - it's short interest, expensive toy that yo'd be selling at a great loss six months after buying!

  • ลําเล็กดีจัง

  • I have a few questions - ( I just want to know):

How much would it cost to build 5:52 of my own?

Would it fly without an turbine? How many hourse powers does it have? What it is weight? What would i need to fly such a "helicopter"? If you dont know exactly, pls calculate.

  • I'd imagine flying one of these without an autorotation capability would be quite dangerous.

  • @R0773N it does have auto rotation

  • AAAUUUHHH!!!!!! If only I had my giant fly swatter I'd get those peskey Mosquitos!

  • as an average cost of such an aircraft

  • i wanna get one but idk were? and idk which type to get i wanna go for a long ride like 2 -3 hour ride and i dont wanna run outa gas and i want a low priced

whats the diffrence between turbine and the standard one?

  • i would scout crops

  • Wow ! excelente ! quiero uno !!!

  • there was a Schweizer in there too. I wonder if that was to fool us into thinking it was a mosquito?

  • até parrece o brasil rs rs rs rs rs rs rs rs

  • hey haw much do those mini helacopters coast

  • inagine what could you do with that

  • do u hav 2 be clever 2 fly a mosquito xe helicopter

  • im 15 years old and i want to be a pilot i would like to no if u need a license or if u need to be a certain age and if i will count for hours. also i want to know how far it can gom and if i can go from state to state.

someone plz get back to me on this

  • @guitarmanx17 no pilot license needed and no age requirement

  • i love thi s video

  • First, it's not a Rotax. Second, my Rotax has not let me down in 10 years of flying. What does that say about your mechanical skills...?

  • Must be dead as their web site, the only link up is one for a drawing to win one after you buy squares.

The turban engine would give you reliability but what does it do for the cost and with a 5 gallon tank your not going far

  • Don't know why their link is not working, try mosquito helicopter on Google and see what comes up. If you would like to contact Allan Fink directly, post your questions, and I will forward them directly to him.

  • Ok I was able to find the site searching for mosquito helicopter , there only 2 hours away from me.

I just wish the money would get flowing again so I could afford to fly again

  • @Handymanherb

the turbine engine weighs more, so it's no longer under the ultralight weight limit so it can have the bigger fuel tank cause the only reason they have the 5gal in the first place is to make it an ultralight. just a bit of info, not an attack, and i think the site is up as of now

  • I think I'm in love!

  • they are about 26k...

  • Notice that you done see to many 1977 Chevy wagons painted pea green with artificial wood panneling in the parking area. These things cant be as inexpensive as one might hope. They sure are cute thogh.

  • so eine maschine kaufe ich mir

  • Notice not a one of these guys flies over 100 feet. That makes me a bit nervous.

  • @craigstephenfoulon

Remember, they all flew many miles to get to the fly in. Besides how else are you going to show off your helicopter if you are high up?

  • Wouldn't be caught dead in one of these. 2 stroke.......seriously? I work on snowmobiles and trust me, the Rotax engine is far from reliable.

  • @craigstephenfoulon My Rotax 503 is very reliable. People don't treat their aircraft like most treat a seadoo. Rotax is number 1 in ultralight engines for good reason. I guess all the people that chose rotax over kawasaki or yamaha are wrong and you are right. Flying ultralights is a safe as you make it. Before I got mine in 05 I searched all over for info on accidents and all but maybe 1% could have been prevented if proper procedures were followed. Unlike commercial jets where its the opposite

  • @flguy32501 Totally agree with you, the 503 is a great little 2 stroke. Alot of people dont give it the credit it deserves.

  • so attach a machine gun to the side and start taking people out

  • How much are they?

  • DO WANT ONE OF THESE!!!!

  • these little beauties are my dream aside from gyrocopters to be able to sweep low over the open ground with minimal equipment but not wind powered its just so so cool i want one so bad.

  • I just realized that there is a comment pending approval box. I thought my first comment was lost. Sorry and thanks.

  • Since these require no license to fly.. does it not count toward your flying hours?

  • is there a age limit

  • What they do require is guts...Postons and helicopters are bad combination, trust me.

  • these require no license fellas!

    costly trinkets though, for sure..

  • ... i though these are helicopters ... Dont all helicopters need a piloting licencs to fly?

  • The XEL model ,which has floats attached to the skids and a smaller fuel tank, falls under FAA part 103 for ultralight aircraft. The others do not and require a pilot certificate to operate. In some countries all of these helicopters require a helicopter pilot certificate to fly. If you visit the mosquito website you can find these topics. The company requires a buyer to show proof of ten certified piloting hours in a helicopter prior to completing a sale of ANY of their helicopters.

  • The XEL is the one not requiring the pilot certificate the others do. The XEL has the floats on the skids. Also, mosquito aviation still requires you to show proof of at least ten hours of certified piloting of a helicopter prior to completion of any helicopter sale. The ten hours are of course much less than the training required in obtaining an actual pilot certificate. In some countries all of those helicopters require a certified helicopter pilot certificate to operate.

  • can you do an autorotation in that thing?

  • Absolutely, check out John Uptigrove's demonstration videos: 20 ft Hovering Autorotations in the Mosquito XE Helicopter

  • AWESOME!!! I wanna know also where I can get one!! and if you have to have a license to fly them?

  • nope, no license, search mosquito experimental helicopter on the internet, you'll find it

  • how much and where can i go get me one?

  • This is great man, i want one !!!

i only fly Rc-heli`s at the moment.
