Just a tip man I went to Barnes and noble and found a couple fold up type quick field guides that are laminated. One for edible and unedible foods one for local wildlife and one for basic first aid. They take up no room and they're water proof. One of my favorite buys for my kit.

Oh, btw, something that I found to be really fun to do- after all tasks and chores around the camp are done- is whittling pipes- if you smoke- if not- whittle owls :)

No! No FAIL!- just a non-greased blade- Get a busse combat knife plz! You will not regret it! Youtube them- they can cut through concrete blocks and still be sharp enough to cut paper- I just got my scrapyard 511 a week ago- Plz don't buy buck! Thanks for the video!
