I like the singers performance in the Dylan Film "I'm not there". The version of "Going to Accapulco" is the most disturbing and beautiful thing I've every heard an seen.
highly suspicious is fucking awesome. you have to understand its part on the album; viewing the entire album as a piece of art. you wouldn't say one figure in one of picasso's paintings sucked. you have to understand its place.
Maybe I'm jaded and cynical, but the new MMJ doesn't do much for me. It Still Moves is a fucking classic, always will be. But for my dollar to donut, At Dawn and Tennessee Fire are possibly the most awe inspiring albums ever born from the Louisville Community. I mean CLASSIC!
Creedence formed in the 60s and played at Woodstock with Hendrix and Janis.
To say that Creedence didn't push any boundaries is ridiculous. John Fogerty has one of the most unique voices in rock and roll history and his lyrics helped pave the way for patriotic liberalism in pop music.
Just because CCR didn't push too many boundaries sonically does not mean that they pushed no boundaries at
hell yeah thats my big bold head on the left !!!! never thought id ever make it on youtube !!! well heck not a bad way to start !!! jimmy james you rock !!!
this album is going to be fantastic... makes me want to go to roo just see this late night performance...and i probably will then leave right after because no other performance will be able to compare

you gotta be less narrow-minded, a musician has to try different things, you no what happens when you paint yourself in a corner?
doogiegoodie 3 years ago
well, actully i'll listen to anything that i might not have heard before. i might not like it but i'll try.
skihero45 3 years ago
You really think so?
I think Highly Suspicious is great.
Adds a totally different element to the album.
Throws a curveball of sorts.
ibanezvampire70 3 years ago
well, musically Highly Suspicious is great. its just the vocals that kill it. MMJ does not equal peanut butter pudding surprise.

uhh you forgot the doors, jimi hendrix, and janis. Creedence was tight, but they did 50s old school rock. the latters pushed all boundaries
JimiyDoorsHamelech1 3 years ago
CCR was "50s old school rock?"
What does that mean?
Creedence formed in the 60s and played at Woodstock with Hendrix and Janis.
