the simplest think to describe this is its a bike that is powered by a get engine converted instead to thrust the bike with its raw power, it is converted to turn that shaft conected to the gears linked with chains that rotates the wheel

I don't think that's acutally directly jet-powered. It's a small jet engine turning a turbine that powers the rear wheel. It's known as Turboshaft. How much did this thing cost?

yea Ive read a couple articles about this bike, and as you get to a higher speed unlike a multi-geared internal combustion motor which has 1 low gear, the next one is not going to accelarate quite as fast as the first one. A Turbine motor has 1 gear so the higher the rpms get the higher the accelaration. there was a private owner in Oregon I heard that got clocked doing 213 miles per hour.

this bike isnt fast in accerlaration due to the fact that out of the like 30000 rpm it starts at 2 which means not alot of power to get u goin but once it gets to 15000 rpm

A powershaft has a second rotor which stator can be adjusted. The shaft is connected to this rotor, often with a gear (fixed ratio!) inbetween.

Error, since 1969 almost all helicopters uses turbine engines and still have shafts and propelers. Its not the exhaust trust what moves the motorcicle or the helicopter, instead, the power of this kind of engine moves the main shaft (with much more torque than what a piston engine can deliver) and gives power to the wheel or the propeller throught pulleys.
